The damage done to the credibility of the CDC is staggering. Maybe they never really warranted being held in high esteem given the obvious conflict of interests that have likely gone on for quite some time.

With every passing day, it becomes more and more apparent that the amount of graft, bribery and payola that goes on in government and public agencies is staggering. When it comes to that, this country is no better than the worst banana republic.

I'm actually more encouraged by seeing the widespread depths of this. Something tells me we've had blinders on for a helluva lot longer that the past few years.

We were blind to this stuff? Who knew that employees at the NIH - hundreds of them - received royalty payments from big pharma for patents the companies received using NIH funded research. I didn't know and it seemed far fetched until the FOI Act and Rand Paul exposed it last week. So let's say you are an NIH employee and you grant a company research funds and a vaccine or therapy that is eventually patented... You are eligible to receive royalty payments. Then the NIH purchases billions of dollars of the medication, like what just happened with the Pfizer therapeutic. The taxpayer pays top-dollar for a patented product and it is given to hospitals to use. This has been happening since the AIDS epidemic. Why approve Ivermectin? Hydroxychloroquine? or any unpatented drug? Think about how far back this must've gone on, the different drugs whose approval was withheld because of it, and how much this payola has impacted the cost of healthcare over the years. |

The initial wave certainly got the best of the elderly and compromised, but after that the next two years were one of the greatest acts against humanity in the name of protecting humanity... many of us knew this with limited knowledge of science, medicine, medical expertise but simple common sense, looking at history and knowing how fake and false the media and politicians are made it easy to see how the public was duped and lied to.
