I've been reading about some of the atrocities being perpetrated on the Yazidis at the hands of the muslims over the past few years, and they seem to have similarities to the Jews at the hands of the Nazis during WWII.
Like the Jews, they practice a "different" religion some consider as cultish, and seem to keep to themselves. They have experienced a lack of tolerance by those in power that's resulted in persecution, from what I can see, simply because they are different.
Can any of you shed any light on this?
