Fauci is supposed to be the scientific "expert", but over 250,000 have died of COVID (allegedly) on "his watch"--while he was directing the federal government's medical response. Donald Trump is not an infectious disease specialist--Fauci is. And Trump implemented all of Fauci's suggestions. So why doesn't the media and the Left lay the blame for COVID deaths on Fauci?

The problem with that argument is that then you have to also blame Trump for the deaths of those people which many of us argue against...

I don't think I agree with that. Fauci has been the architect for our national approach to this disease since day one. The failure of that approach lies in his lap more than anyone else's. Trump is simply guilty of being stupid enough to follow Fauci's directions without deviating or replacing the guy. If a baseball player strikes out in every at bat for eight months, even the most clueless manager in the game eventually replaces him in the batting order.

I heard what I think was a thought-provoking discussion on the radio earlier today. The gist of it was:
China is our biggest enemy on the world stage. They are single-mindedly focused on becoming the #1 superpower on earth, both economically and militarily. Toward that end, Xi Jinping ensures that the top positions of power and influence are filled by the most qualified and ruthless individuals he can find. Conversely, Joe Biden and his team have announced that his cabinet will be the most diverse in American history. Apparently, qualifications and ability will be secondary to skin color and sex. So if you were a betting man, on which of these approaches would you place your money as the most likely to win the war?

The problem with that argument is that then you have to also blame Trump for the deaths of those people which many of us argue against... The point I was trying to make it that blaming COVID deaths on anyone is ridiculous--save for the decisions by some Democrat governors to send COVID+ patients into nursing homes. Blaming anyone for the natural spread of a virus is like blaming people for natural disasters.

...save for the decisions by some Democrat governors to send COVID+ patients into nursing homes. Bingo. If you look at the numbers objectively, it could be argued that Andrew Cuomo caused the deaths of more Americans than any American since Lyndon Johnson ramped up troop levels in Vietnam.

Didn't think it was possible to have more despicable human beings than were in the Clinton or Obama administrations.
I was wrong.
Let the healing begin.

On the contrary, why should the leadership reflect the 40% that are people of color rather than the 60% that aren't?

What exactly did Joe Biden do this year--except duck the media, mangle every speech he made, offer up his typical condescending remarks about blacks? And Kamala Harris contributed approximately ZERO to the ticket.
And to name two people the PERSON of the year is fitting for a Left which can no longer even figure out the different between the two sexes. So let's just throw math and grammar out the door as well.
There's not enough lipstick in the world for Time to put on this pig.

Were the choices really that slim that Time had to pick a braindead white crook and a hateful black bitch for the award?
