Can you imagine next in line to be Kamala Harris, and then Nancy Pelosi. I imagine we could very well see them as the next president and Vice President.

Just like the fraudulent Russian Collusion narrative and the fraudulent election of Joe Biden, this 2nd impeachment is equally fraudulent. There is absolutely no proof of any crime at all by President Trump that is offered by Nancy Pelosi and her congressional clowns. ROFL. Everything you don't like you claim is "fraudulent". Too funny. You want proof of crimes by trump yet you accept that fraud was committed without any evidence. How does that work?

Virtually EVERYTHING the MSM has said about Donald Trump for the past four years has been a lie. The "insurrection" and impeachment narratives are just a continuation of the same libelous script. The Capitol riot "incited" by Trump is yet another Democrat hoax--no more honest than the Charlottesville "fine people" lie. I've been to a few Trump rallies and I can tell you that the MAGA crowd is not one to instigate such actions. As more evidence comes out it is clear that the breeching of the Capitol was clearly planned ahead of time and initiated by Left wing agitators (Antifa and BLM types) who ended up egging on genuine Trump supporters who, sadly and wrongly, got caught up in the heat of the moment. Here is one eyewitness account of the events: And this: Left-wing Activist John Sullivan Indicted for Violent Operations During January 6th Capitol Hill RiotJohn Sullivan is a left-wing agent provocateur within the larger Antifa movement. On the day of the Capitol Hill riots Sullivan embedded himself with the MAGA movement and recorded his activity. Today, John Sullivan was indicted for his action. theconservativetreehouse.com/2021/01/14/left-wing-activist-john-sullivan-indicted-for-violent-operations-during-january-6th-capitol-hill-riot/

It takes a person with blinders firmly in place to ignore Joe Biden's glaring reasons why he shouldn't be President. His corruption with Russia, Ukraine, and ties to China for the Biden Crime Family, which will eventually come out, and his obvious loss of touch with reality mentally, which will get worse. Even with the support of all those involved to get him elected, he can't be hidden forever. Trying to keep everything to blaming Trump for everything under the Sun, only has a couple of more days until the spotlight will have to shift to China Joe.

You're one of those people.

And as I said...not one shred of evidence...I could make an insulting remark about your stupidity but I'm just going to ask a question to see if you can answer it...so tell me...how do you know any of those claims are true if it has yet to "come out"? You seem to be believing something before you've seen the evidence of it....

Same old, same old. It has come out. It was censored by his buddies in the media. Look it up yourself. NY Post articles by the dozens which were censored and numerous articles by Kimberly Strassel of the WSJ. Try to learn something on your own for a change or I could make an insulting remark about your stupidity.

Does anybody know what the rationale is that's being used to justify another impeachment exercise? I realize the bar for such proceedings has been lowered quite a bit in the last four years (to the point where the grounds don't even have to be factual), but it seems to me there should at least be some theoretical "high crime or misdemeanor" somewhere in there to at least provide a legal fig leaf.
As best I recall, the first impeachment proceedings were carried out against Andrew Johnson for trying to replace a cabinet member (which the Congress tried to make illegal). Then Richard Nixon resigned before he could be justifiably impeached for Watergate related crimes Then Clinton was justifiably impeached for lying in court while under oath.
But the "Russian collusion" related impeachment was an evident farce and it seems to me unwise (politically, ethically and as a precedent) for the Democrats to repeat the exercise again with flimsy legal standing. It will further undermine their credibility and escalate the already high level of acrimony.
An undesirable tendency is developing: No such proceedings were attempted from from 1789 until 1867. Then again in 1973. Then again in 1998. Then again in 2019 and now 2021. So, 78 years, then 106 years, then 25 years, then 21 then 2. Initially a last ditch recourse, impeachment is becoming a mere attempt at coup d'etat or display of vindictiveness. The current effort has no legal or practical significance and is merely an exercise and acting out frustration. It 's a mistake and it will have longstanding undesirable effects.........................Luca

The current effort has no legal or practical significance and is merely an exercise and acting out frustration. I think the current effort has two issues of practical significance. The first is that a conviction in the Senate would preclude Trump from holding federal office again. Apparently, the Democrats are already worried about a 78-year-old Trump beating them in four years, like Napoleon Bonaparte returning from exile on Elba to once again recapture the French imagination. The second is payback. He has embarrassed Democrats for five years, and this is their last chance at a vindictive slap in the face as he leaves Washington. Yes, it's petty and childish, but what else would you expect?
