I’m not sure what a US senator’s responsibility is in the middle of a snowstorm in his state. I would hope that a Senator would be smart enough not to make such a boneheaded mistake. Agreed. Would you similarly hope that a governor would have the smarts not to persomally impose dubious requirements on his entire state and then flaunt them the next day at an uber pricey dinner with lobbyists?...........................Luca |

Then there's all the dumbass lies Cruz uttered instead of just apologizing...pathetic. And it seems pretty disingenuous to complain about Cruz not apologizing for going on vacation, but not complaining that.... What's disingenuous is trying to change the subject because you have no better argument. BTW, I'm not complaining about Cruz, I'm laughing at him and anyone who would defend his ridiculous behavior....or vote him into office. That we as a nation must have such idiots in Congress is just disappointing. |

Newsom actually did issue a requirement to wear facemasks in restaurants, and the next day went out to a restaurant with lobbyists without wearing a mask. I don't know how much attention this received back East, but It's well-documented and has actually played a role in his potential recall. ..........................Luca |

Are you also laughing at the ridiculous behavior of Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi, the mayor of San Francisco and the city councilwoman of Los Angeles, who were much more hypocritical because they actually violated lockdowns that they imposed or supported? Or are you once agian just playing one side of the aisle? Yes, I;m sure we are much better off with giants of intellect and good judgment like AOC and Eric Swalwell in Congress. |

My invoking those other congressmen was to point them out as examples of your most common flaw here -- that you repeatedly call out conservatives for things that liberals do as well or more. To me, that is the epitome of hypocrisy. |
