Every pro-vaccine and anti-vaccine comment or opinion in this thread points to three conclusions:
(1) Every adult should decide for himself whether or not to get vaccinated. And every child should have that decision made for him by his parents, not by a school, a government or a gaggle of Karens.
(2) Every adult should decide for himself whether or not to wear a mask. And every child should have that decision made for him by his parents, not by a school, a government or a gaggle of Karens.
(3) No adult or child has the responsibility to get vaccinated or wear a mask in order to make someone else feel safe or protected, and no school, government or gaggle of Karens should have the right to mandate vaccines or masks.

What they don't mention, is that the CDC quit counting all cases of the vaccinated. Only people who are hospitalized or dead are cases now. But if you are unvaccinated, any positive test counts you as a case.

Just to be clear: IMO, being vaccinated and mask wearing are matters of public policy and the decision should be made by qualified public health officials not selfish individuals who think their personal liberties are more important than managing a public health crisis. You are part of a larger society and occasionally you'll be required behave accordingly...whether you like it or not. Your "rights" come with responsibilities to your fellow citizens...try to remember that. |

You are part of a larger society and occasionally you'll be required behave accordingly...whether you like it or not. Your "rights" come with responsibilities to your fellow citizens...try to remember that. You have never provided more clear or succinct evidence of why you and others on the far left are full of shit. If you and others like you want to get vaccinated and wear a mask, do so.
