We are closing in on 4K deaths from the vaccine in the US now First, how do we know those 4,000 people died from the vaccine rather than just after taking the vaccine? And second, if 4,000 people died after vaccination but hundreds of thousands or millions were saved from dying, is that not a worthwhile trade-off?

Good question. This is from VAERS, the same reporting agency every year for all vaccines adverse affects and deaths. 1.9K Moderna, and 1.6K for Pfizer. And that data is from May 7. There were only 294 deaths from Jannsen. There have only been about 550K deaths in the US from COVID and the developing pneumonia, and that is after a couple seasons. The season flu and the pneumonia that develops killed about 150K in the US in 2015. The number was rising and I haven't seen the new numbers. It could be upwards of 200K now. I don't think the trade off was worth it, considering we don't know what the lingering side effects might be.

OK, I looked it up again. There have been over 5K deaths from the vaccine, the majority are over 75 years of age (as of May 28). There have only been seven deaths under 17 years of age. But I still think the vaccine is a big money grab for corporate share holders. I believe people who wanted the vaccine should have paid for it. Hopefully in a year and a half the vaccines are approved as safe by the FDA.

All that sounds a lot like the "one life is too many" argument. If that's the case, then we should stop administering all vaccines.

Interesting side note: Our Illinois Governor, Jabba the Hut, owns a majority share in Pfizer... and he is now hinting at a $17 million Vaccine lottery. (which, of course, the taxpayers will bear)

(which, of course, the taxpayers will bear) While Jabba may own some shares of Pfizer, he does not own a majority share. Nobody does. The largest stake is about 15% owned by five separate Vanguard companies. If Jabba was the majority shareholder, he would be worth over $100 billion.

All that sounds a lot like the "one life is too many" argument. If that's the case, then we should stop administering all vaccines. This was likely a bad flu season, despite all the questions arising around the PCR test. It wasn't anywhere close to the Spanish Flu in death rate. It is not an indictment against all vaccines at all. It is an indictment against using an experimental vaccine on a virus that mutates fast (unlike polio and other diseases where childhood vaccines are used), for a flu / pneumonia epidemic that isn't much worse than the seasonal flu.

How is that outrage any different then tattooing Jews with their blood type in 1930's Germany?

Just walked through Target with the fiancé both of us maskless.
99% of the shoppers were still wearing masks. BIZARRE.

I went to Costco yesterday and had the same experience. Maybe ten people in the whole store that were maskless (including me), but I didn't see anyone get the stink eye for being so bold.
And then it happened. Heading out to my car a middle-aged Karen asked me, "Have you been vaccinated?" My mouth has gotten me in trouble more times than I can remember, but I answered, "Have you had an abortion or breast implants?" In shock, she said, "Excuse me?" And my final comment was, "Oh, I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood. I thought you wanted to share private medical information." She stormed off in a huff, and I had a big grin on my face that people could see...because I wasn't wearing a mask.

I think the vaccine could be dangerous, but the fear of the virus is more dangerous. Fear is horrible. Especially considering that the virus wasn't as deadly as some of us thought it would be. Thank God for that. Now all we have to work on is the fear. Good story MD Dad. I shared that with my wife.
