Yah, the country loves Joe Biden. They just don't have the money to buy gas to get to the polls.

we all know it must be bad for Dems and they must now hang their political hat on the overturning of Roe, but I think they will start to really lose that fight as well as they push for infanticide in Blue States...

True. It is like they are compelled to double down on everything bad. From pride to murder. They support it.

Hey, he did something right. I saw a commercial for Ron DeSantis on Fox tonight. I think they both have political ambitions. Can you imagine being a person that admires Newsome? Or better yet, Biden?

Gavin Newsom is at serious risk of suffering a critical whiplash when he veers so quickly towards the center.

Newsom has governed a one party and one minded sided media in this state, when he goes out there and gets vetted you will see the real whiplash of this pencil necked geek.

If you didn't see it last night and haven't read or followed the fallout, President Trump not only hit it out of the park, he did it on their own network @ CNN Here is a link to watch a replay ~~~> rumble.com/v2n5gzy-commercial-free-replay-president-trumps-cnn-townhall-05-10-2023.html
Redsate Article:Trump Dominates at Town Hall, Then Audience Focus Group Finishes CNN Off
Newsweek Article: He's Back! CNN's Townhall Proves Trump Is Once Again the Dominant Figure of American Politics
Snip~" He's back!
Actually, he never went away. But now, former President Donald Trump is once again the clearly dominant figure on the American political scene, far eclipsing everyone else, including the sitting President.
On Thursday night, he made a long-awaited return to CNN, the lion's den of what he calls "fake news," for a primetime townhall broadcast live from New Hampshire. Moderated by Kaitlan Collins, the forum offered the former president a chance to address a wide range of issues, take questions from voters, and perhaps most importantly, demonstrate that he remains the 800 pound gorilla of the Republican Party.
It began with a discussion of the 2020 election results. Collins challenged Trump on his claims that the race was "rigged," but Trump held firm that it was not a truly fair election. Indeed, Meta's Mark Zuckerberg pumped $400 million into key states for drop boxes, get out the vote operations, ballot harvesting and other activity that heavily favored Democrats. Just weeks before the election, the FBI worked with Twitter and other social media companies to suppress the New York Post's factual story of Hunter Biden's laptop, and all of the evidence of Biden family corruption on it. At the same time, 51 current and former intelligence officials signed a letter falsely claiming the laptop was "Russian disinformation." And the pandemic allowed for the expansion of mass mail-in voting, early voting, and relaxed signature verification standards, opening up at the least the possibility of abuse."
If I am Team DeSantis I have to be shaking my head letting a guy like Trump running off with the nomination. What, and why on earth did they wait, hesitate, not step up into the ring? Did they think the left, the media, the courts would finish Trump off and he could just walk in....? Last night in political terms was "moving the needle".

DeSantis has the luxury of having time on his side, since he's only 44 years old, Let Trump have the nomination next year. If Trump wins, he's out in four years. If he loses, his political career is over. In the meantime, DeSantis can continue to build his resume as an excellent executive of a large state, and as a national political leader. Then he can roll to the nomination in 2028 when he's still only 49.

I agree, seems a tougher path to the White House grappling with the 800 pound gorilla. So much could go wrong. Everything Trump seems to go to a higher level. I did ponder the thought, if DeSantis did somehow beat Trump, would the other side deem him David whom took down Goliath? Would he attract moderates and even Democrats at the ballot box as they would deem him a hero?

I hate to say it, but I will anyway: Maybe the best thing that could happen to DeSantis is that he decides not to run in 2024. Trump gets the GOP nomination and loses the election through massive voter fraud to Gavin Newsom. We have four more years of our major cities, our economy, our morals and our standing in the world going further down the shitter. Then in 2028 DeSantis could be the first president elected with 100% of the popular vote.

There is always the chance however waiting too long, the battle field abruptly changes on you. Who knows, by 2028 it is Musk whom gets in the race w 100% of the vote!
