Trump came off as just basically mad, pissed off at everything, the more I think about it how can he not? Again look what this guy goes through, daily, hourly, every minute its an onslaught by his opposition, political foes and and entire media for the most part.
I had wished, right after the assassination attempt, that he would find a softer more humble side, yet within days, the media blackout the story, the government covered up exactly what happened and it was back to square one, Trump against the world.
I think the debate was a missed opportunity, the bar was set so low for the cackler that any resemblance of not getting knocked out was a victory on the score cards. (Score cards are better kept, controlled by yes, the media). It was like going into the heavy weight championship of the world yet one contestant gets to wear head gear while the other must use his skull and face for protection.
The system we have is rigged, the election interference is real. The staged antics are appalling. Where we go from here the Lord only knows.

I think Harris held her own, considering the mess her administration has made of things. I think Trump missed some opportunities. His stoic stance didn't help things. Perhaps he should have turned his head and shook his head at her too. I think just sticking to the facts didn't help him, in that regard.
He was right about one IMPORTANT thing: His legal problems stem from his insistence on running again and intention to eliminate the deep state. I like what he did in his first term and would vote for him no matter what sell-out career politicians the two parties would put on the ticket.

A war weary president meets with Trump. I think he realizes he has been a pawn in this war.

Donald Trump's mouth continues to do everything it can to ensure he loses this election. Proving it no longer has any connection to his brain, this weekend it called Kamala Harris "mentally disabled" and "stupid". He can't help but pander to his base, whose votes he already has in the bag, while alienating the independents and moderates who could put him over the top.
In many ways, Donald Trump is a very stupid man.

In many ways, Donald Trump is a very stupid man. Well to be fair, if Donald Trump walked on water, I'm pretty sure your response would be that he can't swim. Your opinion of him is very biased, set in stone & will not change. What Trump said over the weekend will have no bearing as to gaining people to vote for him. I think there are very few people that are undecided as to who to vote for, rather there are people who are undecided whether to vote for Harris. What Trump says will have no effect on people deciding in the last 2 months to vote for Harris. Trump is a known quantity, negative things he says are already baked in the cake. He pretty much has all the votes he will get. The unknown is the number of people who would like to vote for Harris as long as she doesn't turn out to be an empty suit (which she is). If those people see something from Harris that makes them think she is competent, they will vote for her. If they see something that exposes the truth & her record over the past 3 plus years, they won't vote for her (they will either vote 3rd party or not at all). Hence why the Harris campaign is in a prevent defense, trying to run out the clock until November 5th. As an aside, this election is no longer Democrat vs Republican. It is 100% establishment vs outsider, with examples of endorsements on both sides clearly illustrating the change.

who woulda ever thunk some decades ago the parties would literally flip... R's the party of Wall Street & Wars are now the party of middle class farming rust belters and southerners and mostly opposed to foreign interventions like Ukraine.

I think both MD & RSM you have your points, there are certainly times I wish Trump would knock it off, tone it down, but it is who he is. His policies just simply TRUMP (no pun) his demeanor. Maybe I'm too pragmatic, I see/saw this election as this, one candidate I could never vote for as I disagree with almost all her positions. One candidate, for a moment in RFK I could take him on about 50 or 60% of what he advocates or stands for on issues important to me. The there is Trump, whom is probably close to 90% on policy and I just have accepted I will deal with the bloviating as Bill O' Reilly use to call it.

If Donald Trump wins on November 5th the Democrats in Washington will start to make Donald Trump unqualified to take office on November 6th. Law suits from every blue state.
Remember this?

Tarmac you run w/ a lot of far fetched ideas, notions, some would call hypothetical conspiracy ridden theories. Conspiracy theory? LOL This is on video SK. I think they do have plans if Trump can overcome their five city cheating. The electoral college is their solution. The Democrats in 2016 went to the elector's houses. AND then they say Trump is tyrannical? Oh, the hypocrisy is rich in the Democrat party.
