I am impressed with Biden on this. Sadly, we need to protect Taiwan from Communist China. WASHINGTON—The United States and Taiwan on June 29 resumed trade talks after five years, a move that has angered the communist regime in Beijing, which claims sovereignty over the liberal democratic island. Discussions reopened on the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA), which was stalled in 2016. Does it just seem like whatever the Dems say Trump did, they did it? Let's see... Biden didn't make his son-in-law an envoy to the Middle East and take his daughter with him on overseas trips. Biden's longtime CFO isn't facing prison time for tax crimes. Biden doesn't spend his time on Twitter screaming about how he's been cheated...so no, it doesn't seem like that at all. |

I agree with part of that. I am glad Biden didn't put his kids in charge of anything.

Ma, the head of Alibaba, said after his disappearance, that he was grateful that the CCP "regulated" business so he could succeed.

Do you think China will be invading Taiwan soon? If so, what should the US do? After dozens of incursions into their airspace, Taiwan is asking for backup from Australia. Why not the US? Is it Biden or would it be too provocative?

We should wait until the illegal Haitians, nicaraguans, Salvadorans, and Mexicans swell our ranks into the billions, draft them, and THEN take on China.

Taiwan is asking for backup from Australia. The Aussies are too busy being locked down from Covid terror, so they won't likely crawl out from under their beds to help Taiwan. |

Right before Trump left office he set up an diplomatic connection with Taiwan. It is a strange situation where China says Taiwan is still part of their country but we have been hesitant to formalize an embassy in Taiwan. We do sell them weapons.

Right before Trump left office he set up an diplomatic connection with Taiwan. Which was designed to dump any problems this diplomatic "connection" might cause right in Biden's lap. If trump was interested in, or capable of solving any problems he may have made a great move...as it is it was a cheap political stunt for which the people of Taiwan may very well have to pay the price. |

We are weakened because of our oil policies. Can you imagine the monumental shift we would have to do if Russia goes further? China into Taiwan? Hey, at least we will be woke.
