Servite Golf, after winning 6 straight Trinity league titles, actually finished 2nd to Mater Dei, after splitting two meetings with the Monarchs, and losing a tiebreaker in one of two meetings with J Serra against (the Friars won the other meeting against J Serra).
I believe the Monarchs also won a CIF Title this year, and qualified, (as did Servite), for the CIF/SCGA Regional Championship.
For the first time in school history the Friars won the tournament, dominating the competition. The Friars had a team score of an even par 360.
Torrey Pines took 2nd at 372 (+12),
Anaheim Discovery was 3rd at 373 (+13),
Cathedral Catholic was 4th at 375 (+15), and
Mater Dei rounded out the top 5 with a 383 (+23).
Congratulations to the Friars.
