In the past 2+ years in this forum, the culture here skews more toward more thoughtful, developed responses than one liners. This isn't to say the occasional one liner accompanied by some twitter post doesn't happen, or is particularly off base here. This also isn't a highly moderated forum, but one whose governance is greatly influenced by a group of contributors who pretty much established it back then.
What we ask for, and frankly expect, is an understanding and assimilation into that culture. It doesn't mean you have to agree with what's being posted. It does mean you're expected to support your position with a modicum of thought. If this comes off as hypocritical, heavy handed, elitist, echo-chamberish, or whatever other adjective you'd like to describe it as, I really don't care. Think of it as Rome, where you'll do what the Romans do, or head on over to Greece.

There are far more one-line posts or posts that are just re-tweets or video posts than would be present if your assessment were correct. Credo is the most prolific poster here and most of Credo's posts fall into this category. Very little in the way of "thoughtful, developed responses" or posts. |

You, sir, are the greatest crapola-one liner poster her. You have the U.S. territory as the sole vendor of one-line nonsense. You are, therefore a hypocrite for criticizing Credo or anyone else you disagree with.

At any rate this thread is about post quality so your going to have to step up your game since your juvenile insults don't cut it. BTW, the word you were trying for was 'here'...I know those four letter words are tough to spell but do try harder. |

At any rate this thread is about post quality so your going to have to step up your game since your juvenile insults don't cut it. BTW, the word you were trying for was 'here'...I know those four letter words are tough to spell but do try harder. Talk about a brilliant response. You criticize another poster for misspelling a four-letter word, while you misspell "it's" and "you're" in the same post. Are three- and five-letter words really that much tougher? |
