Gotta be our next President in 2024. I think that is the job Desantis is positioning himself for. I'm hoping Trump won't run which would give him a better chance. |

It is a toss up between Rand Paul, De Santis, and Trump. If there is proven election fraud, Trump might be a better candidate. I like Rand Paul better than either of them. Why? Because De Santis allowed for vaccine mandates in his anti-passport bill. I don't think Rand Paul would do that. Trump screwed up with his operation warp speed, although at that time we were all (maybe a few smart ones weren't) afraid of COVID. Rand Paul is only a senator, but I still think he would make a great executive. He knows the stupidity in Washington and how it works. He would fire Fauci. I think a winning ticket would be Trump - Paul.

Although they remain at a distinct disadvantage just because there are so many more Democrats, at least the GOP has options. On the flip side, who in the hell can the Democrats put up in 2024 when Joe Biden is mentally no longer able to run? Kamala Harris? Gavin Newsom? Andrew Cuomo? Pete Bootygeek? Their all-star roster seems pretty sparse.
Of course, in another three years they should have vote manipulation down to an art form, so maybe it doesn't matter whom they run.

I am not sure if the vaccine was a good idea. But I do remember... at that time we were hit with images from China and Italy. I don't want to talk about it much because I know many people took the vaccine, including most of my kids. I am hopeful.

I agree Dave. I didn't check, but I can guarantee Rand Paul is not going to vote for the infrastructure bill. I doubt Josh Hawley will either. Trump has come out against it. I wonder what DeSantis says about it as a governor. I haven't seen anything about that yet.
