I went into my bank this morning. About a month ago they changed bank managers and the fill-in manager didn't require anyone to wear a mask. None of the tellers did. Today, it looks like they have a new manager. All of the tellers, along with the temp manager were wearing masks. I didn't wear one.
I heard a "psych guy" (I can't remember who) say that once they could get us to wear a mask, they could get us to do anything. The media is more than complicit in this coup. I hope we can pull out of this. I don't see a robust economy next year. It could be a disaster. Massive shortages of products.

I went to both Walmart and Target this morning. (Yeah, I know, I'm a dumbass.) Walmart had a big sign on the door saying masks required. I went in without one and saw that about a third of all the shoppers weren't wearing one either. At Target, there was the same big sign in the door and a big burly uniformed security guard just inside. He looked like a bouncer from a strip club. I told him, "I'm not wearing a f***ing mask." He said, "Yeah, I don't give a sh"t, go on in." So I went in without one and again saw about a quarter of the shoppers were unmasked. This mandate thing has already lost all its steam. Good to hear that in California. That has been the case here for a long time, now. Everybody says, "No...We went through that nonsense once. Lockdowns, masks , distancing. But we're done now. we're not doing it again." |

Wow Bick, that is amazing. Amazing anyone would suggest such a thing in this country, let alone put it into legislation.

I'm sure you'll recall there was a rumor that Obama was creating concentration camps, some years back. I don't recall for whom he was rumored to be creating them, bt it obviously was not for the unvaccinated. What if that was just a test to see what public reaction would be, and prepare for it should such an idea ever be needed. Australia is already doing it, or so I've read. |

Today I happened to go to Costco, Trader Joe's and my favorite craft brewery. All three had signs on the door saying masks were mandatory for entrance. I went into all three without a mask and was the only such facially naked person at all three sites. Nobody said a word, although several Asian women looked at me like I had leprosy. Their irrational fear is not my problem. I had parents who lived through Nazism, and aunts and uncles who lived under Communism, and I'll be goddamned if I will do the same.

Dave, I can't explain why they are so hot on this issue of showing your papers or having everyone's record's in a database. Of course, the nefarious reasons come to mind.
