The 20-somethings have not quite figured it out yet... but they're getting there. Teens are still being spoon-fed by the media (and mostly social media, at that)... so I'm not holding out a lot o hope for them. |

I'm not holding out a lot o hope for them. Me neither. As long as our public education system can supply America with an endless supply of millions of ignorant, brainwashed teens and early 20's every year, the battle remains a little hopeless. |

I think you hi the nail on the head, here, MDDad: Our (public) education system, including universities, is feeding these children mush and my guess is, either the parents don't know (which should be a crime), or they agree with the mush. |

I agree MD Dad. Decades of public education resulted in this. Charter schools and vouchers, IMO, are better.

This process of ideologic brainwashing in our public schools began in the 1960's, so the parents of the children currently being indoctrinated went through the same process. Their worldview tells them everything is normal and nothing is wrong, and the majority likely have little interest in charter schools and vouchers. |

SO, the sociopathic liberals started to indoctrinate our children decade ago, knowing it was a long process... why wouldn't't it work to reverse the process for conservatives?
