I don't know who is more dangerous, a Hitler-like Newsome, or a bumbling fool like Biden with a diverse set of handlers. Newsom is much more dangerous. He is intelligent, devious, charismatic, and has absolutely no principles or scruples. He is the prototy[e modern politician. Biden has little cognition left, and he has the charisma of a turd. Newsom actually scares me, if his party can find a way to make the rest of the nation oblivious to what he has done to California. And I'm afraid the bumbling, incompetent GOP will let them do just that. Newsom may be the slimiest politican I can remember. |

So now Gavin Newsom has created a specific carve-out in the new fast food minimum wage law exempting his donor buddies at Panera Bread from the new law because they "bake bread on the premises and sell it as a menu item." How many times can this guy step on his dick before it breaks off?

It is very corrupt. The law was written and Gavin got a call from the guy. So then it was changed enough to accommodate Panera only. Not Little Caesars and others who sell bread. At least that is my understanding.

It's my understanding as well. It would have been simpler for Newsom to just exempt any fast food company whose name rhymes with Shanera Shed.

Also, I've been to a lot of small mom-and-pop Vietnamese take-out sandwich shops in Orange County, and most of them bake their own banh mi rolls and baguettes and sell them. Are they also all exempt from the new law, or are they only exempt if they're big Newsom donors?
For a guy who is so politically brilliant, Gavin is one stupid human being.

Hey, at least he has "good hair".... I think the minimum is just for large fast food chains. I could be wrong. Remember, go electric by 2035....  |

There is no denying that sex appeal is a factor in politics. After the 1960 election, thousands of American women admitted voting for JFK because he looked like a handsome movie star, while Nixon looked like a sinister gangster with a five o'clock shadow ten minutes after shaving.
65 years later, things haven't changed. Many men will vote for a hot chick, while many women will vote for a handsome dude. The left has the added advantage of many men voting for hot men and many women voting for hot chicks because most homosexual men and women tend to be Democrats. And that's not even counting the tranny and drag queen votes.

Thanks to Newsom on July 1st. the State of California will add a 11% sales tax on top of the 10% they are charging us now on guns and ammo.
