It was announced this morning that this girl has signed an NIL deal with a fitness tracking ap. I wonder if every male high school football player with barely average talent can now expect to do the same. Just imagine what the next transgender HSF player will make!  |

I remember seeing this girl I think in about week 2 of the season. I was asked by a colleague to cover a Laguna Beach game against I can't remember whom. It wasn't until the third or fourth quarter as I was walking past the team that I saw this big ponytail hanging out of a helmet on this small player. This being Laguna Beach and all, I wasn't sure whether it was a guy or a girl from behind but, yeah, that was her. She didn't play in the game and I wasn't sure whether she was a kind of mascot or an actual contributor. At first I thought she was being held out of the game for fear of illegal use of the hands, illegal contact or neutral zone infraction. But evidently she does play.........................Luca So Luca, you are saying you can't tell the difference between a guy and gals behind? Hmmmm...,  |

Cypress had a girl kicker a few years back. Didn't see much action. But during the Kennedy game she did kick and the lovely gentlemen purposefully targeted her on multiple occasions. It was disgusting to see. One of Kennedy's best, most celebrated players went after her and nailed her after an onside kick attempt when she was nowhere near the ball. Classless. Today the kid would have been ejected for going after a kicker away from the ball, boy or girl. She got up but was visibly wobbly. I wanted to fight, so did many players on the Cypress team.

Some memories burn brighter than others. I remember Ashley, as well as the peas and carrots corps.
