Lenny Vandermade was a classmate of Brett Kay. Same mold. A couple years younger. Should have tried for him.Lenny may well have his sights set a little higher. I was told he wasn't even considered at Mater Dei. |

I was told he wasn't even considered at Mater Dei. Since the search and selection process hasn't even started yet, nobody has been considered or ruled out. |

Makes sense to hire a college coach to a head job in the Trinity League. Even better when he has ties to north county San Diego HSFB. Be interested to see what/if they do with NIL. Hire is a serious statement of intent-you bring in a guy like this to beat MD/Bosco. If they were content to be the 3rd through 6th place team, they could have just kept McKnight.
The fact that Pat Harlow is still on staff says a lot.
