Have any college coaches been successful going back to the HS level?

Have any college coaches been successful going back to the HS level? We'll see with Reinert and Victor Santa Cruz. It feels like a good hire to me. I think he's the first Servite alum to serve as head coach.

Hopefully he has a bit more success than that Buffalo squad he just left...

Always felt that MD is the closest thing in high school to playing for the Crimson Tide or the Yankees. The school is a national brand (rare at the HS level).
Servite has always impressed me as somewhat cultish.
I suspect this comment will PO some on here.

Always has been. It's not better or worse, just different.

From what I see to coach at Servite it may best to have been an alum-and if not an alum have a Catholic all-boys school background (Thomas).
I do think JSerra was wise not hiring Thomas-he would have been a cultural misfit with the school as a whole and has never worked at a school that had girls on campus. Also burns through his welcome quickly-good for 4-5 years max much as an old-school coach like Harry Welch did..
