For those here who may be suffering from football withdrawals, here's a College Bowl Game Football Pool for the six upcoming games with the most interest. Pick the winners if you'd like to play. Also pick three games as your POWs, making the pool worth nine points. The deadline for picks is Friday at 11 AM. The winner will receive any bottle of whiskey he wants from SK80's private stash.

What happened to UCLA? They were up by, what 17 points, and then lose.
Without their starting quarterback, Tennessee still won by 17 points!!!

What happened is that UCLA sucks. Chip Kelly can only coach when he has an overwhelming speed advantage like he used to have at Oregon.
What also happened is that Clemson isn't that great and Tennessee is pretty darned good. In fact, I still think Alabama or Tennessee should have been put in the playoffs instead of TCU.

I think the showed the were deserving. |

Since the purveyor of the playoff pool failed to alert or invite the board member... Just what kind of alert or invitation were you expecting? A gold-plated wedding invite? Fireworks over your house? An airplane pulling a banner? Lawn signs? A 60-minute commercial during every TV show? It was posted as always. |
