I'm watching a spin-off of Yellowstone called 1923, and part of this show is a brutal account of Catholic priests and nuns abusing Native American girls in their schools.
I've read a few web pages that seem to corroborate at least directionally this really did occur to some extent.
I had never heard of this before. You guys have any insight on this?

I have not seen that Bick, but I did see this today. I was thinking about posting it, but I didn't think it was worth making a thread for it.

You have to wonder if aggressive therapy wouldn't help combat some of this stuff. For example, if a bunch of real girls held this biological male down on the floor, and a few others shoved a half dozen tampons up his butt, might he not questions whether or not he's really a girl just a deluded dude?

Credo... Are you familiar with the Church's position on this? Yes I understand there were likely those who were abusive, but can you speak to the underlying mission of the Church's role in these schools?
