can't think of anyone else in DC that would take one for the team like this guy has.... Are you kidding? When the entire federal government pins you to the floor and a special counsel shoves a baseball bat up your butt, there's not a whole lot you can do except take it. I'm not sure why you think he's doing if "for the team", because it's not like he really has another choice. |

The prosecutor left out the part "peaceful" from Trump's speech. They did that in the impeachment trial too, didn't they.

That reminds me of the Hillary people going to the homes of the electors after she lost her election. Remember, on January sixth, Trump wanted a recount only. The Republicans never said they wanted to go to people's homes. Hillary losing was the best thing that happened to this country. The Biden people steeling the election in 2000 was the worst thing.

The double standards have become laughable to the point of being cartoonish. When Al Gore, Hillary Clinton and Stacey Abrams claimed they were cheated out of elections they think they won, they were supported and applauded by the media. Hillary is still claiming Trump was an illegitimate president, seven years after she lost to him. But when Trump makes the same claims, the refrain is that he's a threat to our democracy and should rot in jail for the rest of his life. Sure glad we have the media to unify the country.
