In a stunning development, a Russian news agency reported that Yevgeny Prigozhin, long time close associate and BFF of Vladimir Putin, was killed in a completely unanticipated plane crash in Russia along with nine other presumably unnecessary collateral casualties. President Putin is reported to have received the news with admirable equanimity and immediately requested five seconds of silence nationwide.
In other breaking news, the sun is expected to rise in the East tomorrow, it will be cold with high winds in Antarctica, Death Valley will be hot, and Kamala Harris will giggle uncontrollably when asked to explain what an amendment is............................Luca

This reinforces the widely accepted perception that there are some people you can irritate, and others that you'd better not. In the last three decades, the only person who can challenge Vladimir Putin in the number of personal irritants who died under mysterious circumstances is Hillary Clinton.

He could have been "Epsteined".
I saw this on Wikipedia (the leftist rag):
Putin might have wanted him killed. The plane crash killed innocent people. Sad.

"Putin might have wanted him killed"? Lets not go way the hell out on a limb, there, billb.
In the same vein one could without undue risk speculate that Joe Biden might be a little cognitively impaired, or Donald Trump might have some narcissistic tendencies, or a bear might defecate in the woods.
I'm surprised Putin didn't launch the SAM himself.

In the last three decades, the only person who can challenge Vladimir Putin in the number of personal irritants who died under mysterious circumstances is Hillary Clinton. In this country when you want to get rid of an employee you just send them a letter saying something like: "Dear Mr. Smith, After internal review we have decided that the firm needs to move in a different direction under new management. We thank you for your past services and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors."In Russia, your first indication that something might be amiss is a trail of smoke headed directly for your airplane. It's said that the plane fell for about 30 seconds before coming to an abrupt halt. That's hardly enough time to get through an Our Father and a couple of Hail Mary's. Perhaps an academic point, since had he actually gone to confession he probably would have been told to say 11 million Rosaries and hope for the best.
