Out with the old (the Russian Collusion hoax) and in the new--the truth, that is. It's all coming out now. Lefty at TOB might just have a coronary.

I have tried to put this whole story in perspective of my experience as an official so my little brain can grasp it.
D loses multiple games at critical points in league play D suspects R of rampant holding during the all the previous games and CIF won't do anything about it. D goes to court to find out if R is using players from other countries to win the games. The court says "sure, why not?" D spies on R's practices by sending a cheerleader to seduce a waterboy to ask if the team does indeed hold and if the team and/or coach are buddy-buddy with the CIF dudes. Waterboy knows something is up. D starts complaining to anyone listening that R holds a lot and starts throwing shade on R's team and coach in the Register. D's waterboys and equipment managers start lying about all the personal fouls by the miscreants on R's team. A few say holding is a crime. Register goes with the story and blabs about how evil R's team and coach are, even though they are beating everyone in the league with minimal holding calls. They demand CIF do something CIF puts a crack crew on the big game. Big game crew calls holding 0 times with a few warnings on R even though D has been screaming "Holding!! and Personal Foul" all night. Game is over and press asks officials why no holding calls when "obviously" there was holding, they saw it, they saw people grabbing other people, why isn't that holding. CIF explains the holding rules and then go on to explain that all "holding" isn't going to penalized. Holding away from the point of attack won't be called, holding behind the play most likely won't be called. Holding is called when there has been a "material restriction on a defensive player" making a bonifide play... that part isn't in any rules book. and they want to see the rule book and talk to the big game crew officials. D's don't like the explanation of the rules they have no clue about officiating, but they still want to complain as they don't like the answers. They continue to whine and scream holding. Accuse the game officials of being in cahoots with CIF, even though the game ended last Friday night and the officials were the best crew in the state. D starts yelling and screaming about all personal fouls they know happened and demand CIF and the officials quit D wants to redefine the entire rulebook rules and replay the game.
Does that sound like what's happening without getting into how the D started the whole thing by someone's Mom running for office and being a total loser ... twice?

Zebra - That's hysterical. I was asking someone else about the significance of this latest NY Times revelation. Thanks for putting it into language I can understand.

The story will be too big not to print. CNN, MSNBC, NBC,CBS,ABC and PBS will all come to the game but late in the third quarter.

I sure hope James Comey gets indicted for his criminal violations of the FISA warrant process and for illegally leaking government documents. The guy is just flailing now.

How far we have come in approaching the Age of Enlightenment in this country. Just a scant 45 years ago, Richard Nixon, threatened with impeachment, resigned the presidency for doing essentially the same stuff that, today, we seem to just embrace from the Obama legions. we growed up so fast.

Please tell me you are kidding. What Nixon did was child's play compared to this band of criminals.

Assuming Barr proceeds with the Fisa warrant investigation, it'll be interesting to see if Comey falls on the sword for Hillary.
Seems like a big reach to go after Obama. Not aware of anything that even indirectly links him.
