Well, you were at any rate. And granted, mine is somewhat of a niche practice. But transgenders have feelings too, y'know, and I prefer to regard myself as valiantly serving mankind (or maybe "itkind", or "personkind"....it's so hard to keep on top of the woke vocabulary). Plus, let me remind you that orchitis can hurt like a son of a bitch, as you in the autosexual community well know. In the meantime, I read somewhere that over 70% of bettors are taking Cincinnati plus the 4 points. It makes me wonder if they know something I don't. Not that that would be unprecedented, but still it's unsettling.......................

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY !!OK....., I'm chiming in...
If I am a betting man, watching the beyond exciting and close playoffs I just gotta take the 4 points and the Bengals. As hard as it would be for me to even fathom taking what I have referred to for years as the "Bungles".
That said I am not the biggest Rams Fan either, my Rams left for St. Louis and I have found it hard to find passion in rooting for them much anymore. Maybe it's just an entire NFL thing in general.
I stated that I never remember such balance amongst the top 8 teams in this years NFL Playoffs, there was an actual GOOD argument made for every team to go all the way, thats a good thing and it made for some of the most memorable playoffs ever.
So why would today be any different? I've looked at every angle and can only come up with one scenario where this outcome won't be close. The Rams defensive line dominates the Bengal offensive line. The Bengal weakness is found here and there is no better defensive front than what the Rams will bring today. Combine this with a 2 year player and QB in Burrow, as great as he has been and likely will be, thats a huge "if", if he can take the heat, make good decisions and still make plays. And all this will have to happen "ON the ROAD". This could lead to a blow out Ram win.
My reservation with the Rams however comes with two things, one Stafford plays high risk ball, he leads in many a INT category, its the style they play but McVey will have to manage that, Rams get Henderson back, so a 3 rotation RB game should help. The other is likely loss of TE Tyler Higbee. Losing an outlet player in the pass game could lead Stafford to make more high risk throws. If Higbee cant go I think its a big issue.
Looking at the AFC & NFC Championship games, as great as Mahomes is for the Chiefs, the Chiefs on the other side of the ball are just not that good. I would have to put much less credo in the Bengal AFC win than I would the Ram win over the Niners. During the playoffs I elevated my opine on S.F., I like the Ram win a lot more.
The Rams were built to win now, they have mortgaged the future, they have recent Super Bowl experience and home field advantage like Tampa Bay last year. The Bengals are led by a QB kid that looks to be in line for the next great generation of QB's with the likes of Allen and Herbert. I cant help but to think of a parallel in Super Bowl QB history, an underdog Joe..., is this story going to play out? In fact "Joe" has been a pretty good name to carry into this game, Joe Namath, Joe Theismann, Joe Montana, Joe Flacco.
Making predictions is nothing more here than a 50/50 game. Much of the time history and stats are thrown out the door once the ball is in play. So to sum it up, my gut goes with stellar D-Line beats average O-Line, defense wins Championships, control that line of scrimmage, experience in key players and coaches, home field advantage, the fairy tail season for Cincinnati ends here in Los Angeles, RAMS 28-20

Cincy O > Rams O
Cincy D stopped best offense in football.
Rams should've been bounced in TB, and played a team with a Q that couldn't stretch field in NFC championship game.
QB & kicker have ice water in their veins.
Cincy wins... And I'm a Rams fan

Just shut up and take a knee. I think the same way. Too bad you weren't a LaBron James fan in Cleveland.

Im only mad that I moved my prediction from 24-20, to 26-20, then 28-20 last second. Without Higbee saw a potential offensive issue for LA, when Beckham went down I knew the Ram scoring would likely follow, it did, offensive struggles after that compounded. Similar to what Brady had to deal with minus too many receivers. So Bick, as a Rams Fan were you cheering your team or your prediction during the game? Sidenote: won our party pool as well $150.00

In betting parlance, I middled this game perfectly.
I won the money line... RAMS, and covered the spread...Bengals +4.
Game really went as I thought it might. Underrated cincy defense stopped the Rams on the ground, putting the ball in Stafford hands, and he struggled a bit before leading them on the game winning drive. The first defensive holding call was very questionable given how the game was called for the first 58:30.
I had hoped for a close game with the Rams winning, but I bet dispassionately.
Reading the comments about the halftime show, it's clear I'm no longer the target audience.

Uh, perhaps my memory fails me but I seem to recall that you said "Cinci wins", not "Cinci beats the spread". But maybe I'm being too pedantic. I'm sure you would prefer we not concern ourselves with such mundane details, eh?
I knew somebody would complain about the first PI called on Kupp (which was real) without mentioning the facemask on Jalen Ramsey for the second half Bengal touchdown. I was surprised to see that the Bengals outgained the Rams by a small margin but I thought the Rams were clearly the better team, although not by a wide margin. Stafford was playing without 2 of his top 3 receivers and even though the Ram running game was totally snuffed I still had the impression they could move the ball when they really had to.
I am far too modest and too much the gentleman to point out I had predicted that unless the the Bengals could pass block better they were in big trouble (and 7 sacks were decisive), but I would be remiss were I not to point out that events do seem to have validated the observation. ......................Luca

Sorry...was looking at the betting angle.
Yes, you're correct. I did think Cincy would win, but bet they'd cover the spread. Because I'm a Rams fan, I HOPED they'd win.

At first I thought that was an accidental facemask it happened so fast, but that shows it was deliberate.

DBs had their hands all over the WRs all game.
They missed that facemask call.
