I guess I disagree. Brady is not Willie Mays, staggering under flyballs and unable to hit in the last years of his career. His 2021 season saw no degradation in his game, so I don't think he's a tired old Joe Biden taking that last ski run down the slopes late in the day. Sure, he might get hit and blow an ACL to end his career, but the same is true of any other quarterback. He's still one of the best in down league, and maybe he can't face the ugly possibility of quitting and having to spend every day in bed with Giselle. Clearly not Willie Mays or even Brett Favre at the end. I'm just not seeing the reward here over the cost of time away from family / risk of injury. But I guess every working father is away from his family for a good part of each day, so maybe not such a huge difference in cost.

I can always go along and understand the idea "Go Out on Top". TB did just that, he is considered the greatest QB ever to have played, He won a Super Bowl 2 seasons ago with a new team and at an age that defies all logic. He didnt win one last season but he was the #1 rated QB in the NFL at even an older age. Yet another way to look at going out on top. I think part of his decision was based on the movement, losing and not winning back to back, obviously his reassessment has become different. No one wants to see the greats hang on, get humiliated like Ali did getting beat around the ring by young bucks with half of his skills in his prime. With that, TB will give to the football and sport fan, even beyond that a wild ride now knowing that every game, snap could be his last. Imagine ticket sales across the country now or ad revenue on tv from the final tour.... kinda epic in scale.

A couple years ago my wife got tired of me talking about TB. I think I was going through some sort of envy. Man, I wish I could play football like that - like Montana, but even better. And quarterback taboot (or to boot). He is a likeable guy, always with a smile - but then again who wouldn't be happy being the top of his game. I think he might bring the Bucks back to the SB. Perhaps he wont and it could tarnish his stellar record slightly. Oh well, take the chance, and let us watch....
But why did he retire? Maybe he was just holding out for more money. I thought he had an injury that was festering.
Here is a question: Let's say you are down 12 points with a few minutes left on the clock - who is more likely to pull off a win?

Dude, just picture Gisele Bundchen in a babydoll nightie. That may have had something to do with it.

What about that Spring league, the USFL? Will this one work where others have failed. I saw the Rock (he has money in the new league) say that he might play.

Everythink is going retro. How long before that powder-puff league with Playboy bunny players comes back?

I'm good with that. Only difference is we'll be seeing dudes dominate it in their bunny outfits.
Won't that be special?

If we come to a point where we have a Playboy bunny football league, and a bunch of dudes tape their junk under their crotch and compete in bunny outfits, I'll know it's time to move to North Korea.

Did he get drafted... I missed that. Congrats! No, Draft, 7 rounds, 256 picks, Un-drafted Free Agent or round 8...., Raiders immediately signed Chase after the 7th round. The documentary is good, 4 guys on that bubble.... Some highlights from Chase's college career....., including breaking Joe Kapp's all time QB rushing record at Cal. Watch some of those runs..., balls out.
