I can only chalk it up to MDS (Mater Dei Syndrome), the disease where actual results don't count, only what you imagined in the preseason is what matters.Now that is truly funny, coming from a Servite guy, a school whose football program Luca once memorably stated "peaks in July". |

I'm curious why you call me a "Servite guy" when talking about high school football. Yes, I graduated from there a scant 39 years ago, but when have you ever seen me post anything about Servite football except to comment on its rise in the mid 1980's after I had graduated? The last time I went to a Servite football game it was because they were playing Tesoro in the playoffs. I wasn't sitting on the Servite side. BTW, a very VP-style dodge on your part on being wrong about Albert Pujols's production... |

Well, thank you for the compliment, but if Justin Upton hasn't been able to, why would you think I could?
I believe you were inferring that as much as he gets on base, one should be able to get 100 RBI's a year with Trout atop the lineup. Well, Pulos did exactly that. If you do what you are supposed to do, why do classify that as sucking?

Leftism destroys anything it touches. Apparently Colin Kaepernick's damage to the NFL brand wasn't enough for Roger Goodell. Let's hope this insane proposal gets voted down.

The American population is 12.7% black. The number of black head coaches in the NFL is 12.5% of the total. So what's the problem? If there were five black head coaches, African-Americans would be overrepresented at 15.6%. Roger Goodell can suck it.
