It looks like trump has decided that bribery might be a good tactic in this election.... Trump Says Elderly to Get $200 for Drugs in Bid for Senior VoteHow many votes do you think he'll buy for his measly $200? ...it's not even trump's money he's attempting to bribe people with...it's your money. Jesus, VP. Proposing a lousy two hundred bucks for seniors to buy medicine is a bribe. But the left promising free healthcare, free college educations, and the forgiving of student loan debt is not? What a childish hypocrite you are. And by the way, all that free stuff the left is promising isn't Trump's money either, it's yours. And the pile is a whole lot bigger.

That doesn't surprise me, she's been dead for 25 years. You really shouldn't brag about having relations with dead people, it just makes you look more like a pig. Carry on. I simply responded that your mom taught me and you then turned it into a sexual thing. I merely said 'relations" and you turned it into a sexual thing...what a pig.

I don't know what's more disappointing MDDad, your inability to see the difference between a future promise and a present day payoff or your willful ignorance. Trump tried to get the drug companies to pay for his bribe but they said no....so he took money from Medicare to help his reelection...and you're just fine with that apparently...perhaps you're not the independent you claim to be.

Donald Trump will accomplish more during fourteen days of COVID quarantine than Joe Biden accomplished in eight years as Vice-President.

From the portion of the debate I heard on the radio last night, his behavior was acceptable as the president. That's the good news.
The fact it's even a question makes it not so much.

There's a hundred more stories like this going back forty years, mostly unreported. (But he only cares about himself, according to the MSM)

I think this article hits the nail on the head for many, so much so that I could not help but to think MDDad as I read every sentence! How I Went From 'Trump Skeptic' to 'Trump Fan' townhall.com/columnists/derekhunter/2020/11/01/how-i-went-from-trump-skeptic-to-trump-fan-n2579183
In 2016, I was not a Donald Trump fan. I’d fully planned on writing in some joke name or whatever because, well, I didn’t trust Trump. There was no way on God’s green earth I was ever going to vote for Hillary Clinton, and third parties are pathetic. I lived in Maryland, so I could justify it to myself as it not really mattering in the grand scheme of things – Maryland is so blue it would vote for Stalin. *
I also believed, as did most everyone else, that Clinton would win. In the primary, I was originally a Marco Rubio supporter, then a Ted Cruz fan as the field winnowed. I never dreamed this guy whose TV show I’d been a fan of could do anything but humiliate himself and the party. I was wrong.

I understand people who didn't vote for Trump in 2016 or didn't believe he would do a good job. Heck, I was halfway expecting Trump to get sworn in, spend the day in the Oval Office and then resign just so he could say he was elected president. I had no idea he had an interest in actually doing the job, much less the passion he has for getting the country back on the right path. I was wrong about him in 2016 & was pleasantly surprised with his accomplishments.
Now, any person who claims to have conservative or even libertarian values and is still saying they won't vote for Trump in 2020 is either lying about their political ideology or is someone who can't admit they were wrong. This crap about him being mean or a bully or anything else about his personality is nothing more than a flimsy excuse for either wanting a liberal agenda enacted or willing to let the country go to hell just because you were wrong in 2016.
To people like David French, Jonah Goldberg & MDDad, I say its time to man up. Like me, you were wrong about the job Trump could do, for none of us had any reason to believe he would be this effective. Now that we have evidence of his competency, put your money where your mouth is and stop being a childlike obstructionist.

At the end of the day, Trump shot himself in the foot with his behavior on Twitter and elsewhere.
He demonstrated the inability to comport himself with any semblance of restraint while in a position of power so poorly, that he lost to those two. With his record v theirs, he should have carried EVERY state.
This defeat is more humiliating than Hillary in 2016.

Like I’ve said many times, I support his policy, but his antics annoy me. I deal with enough of these types of individuals on a daily occurrence...

I agree, Bick. This loss is on Trump more than on anyone else. Four years ago, Hillary was a thoroughly unlikable and uninspiring candidate and Trump was the funny, outrageous outsider who was really going to shake things up. Four years later, he's no longer an outsider, and his childish rhetoric and nasty personal insults have become stale and bitter.
