I was literally about to post something similar after watching yet again Bradley Schlom run all over St; Francis Mountain View. Well today Greg Biggins (National Recruiting Analyst for 247sports) beat me to it and I am quite happy he takes it national. What has been considered an undersized 3rd or 4th option is turning out to be so far this years CDM MVP with 7 TD catches in two games. And now a new wrinkle returning kick offs for touchdowns. CDM has the O.C. GRONK and without a doubt in my mind the O.C. EDELMAN. Bradley Schlom is among biggest sleepers out West247sports.com/Article/Bradley-Schlom-hearing-from-Boise-State-Cal-UC-Davis-Rice-and-Utah-among-others--135159190/
www.hudl.com/v/2BcafSwww.hudl.com/v/2BcafSwww.hudl.com/v/2BcafS Corona Del Mar (Calif.) has one of the state’s top offenses and wide out Bradley Schlom is off to a fast start this season.
You won’t find many offenses anywhere in the country more explosive than the Sea Kings. Led by elite 11 quarterback and Washington commit Ethan Garbers and several talented receivers, CDM is averaging nearly 50 points a game.
Stanford commit John Humphreys receivers a lot of the headlines and rightfully so, he’s a gifted top 100 player nationally but Schlom is a legitimate next level prospect in his own right.
In two games, he has 16 catches for 219 yards and six touchdowns. He was hardly a sleeper coming in to the year after a big junior season that saw him haul in 72 catches for 1,138 yards and 10 touchdowns to earn All-CIF honors.
We saw Schlom at multiple off-season 7v7 events and he was always a tough cover. He has good quickness, soft hands and runs well after the catch. He has the versatility to play in the slot or out wide and is among the most under-recruited players out West.

Another kid you poached from us. He is a Newport kid who decided home is where the heart is...... same as J.H. Would have expected a better response to the story than that but then again you have been a bit bitter of late......

Another kid you poached from us. Schlom might have been a starter for the Monarchs, had he been born five years earlier, but in 2019 he would be atrophying on Rollinson's bench. Smart move, kid.

I agree not a bad move, argumentatively a smart move, but do not simply call atrophy as it is Schlom whom is standing out amognst some of the top receivers in the nation on his CDM team. And that ain't no homer hyped exaggeration on my part. And yes MD is loaded.

My remark was no knock on Schlom, who would almost certainly be a starter at any CIF-SS school, save for Bosco and Mater Dei. (If you get my meaning, that is not a complement of those TWO.) Had he stayed at MD, he would not even be a sleeper; he'd be invisible. In that sense, he saw the writing on the wall and made a good decision to return to his home school. I will root for the CDM school as I was confirmed across the street at the old church of Our Lady Queen of Angels many moons ago.

And the guy keeps putting up numbers..., great article from the LAT/DailyPilot High School Football Player of the Week: Bradley Schlom is Corona del Mar’s deep weaponwww.latimes.com/socal/daily-pilot/sports/story/2019-10-03/high-school-football-player-of-the-week

By SCOTT FRENCHSPECIAL CONTRIBUTOR OCT. 3, 2019 6:26 PMMost of the attention that Corona del Mar High‘s explosive offense receives is reserved for 6-foot-3 quarterback Ethan Garbers, 6-5 wide receiver John Humphreys and 6-6 tight end Mark Redman, who have the size, skill and intangibles to have realistic shots at playing football on Sundays a few years from now. If Bradley Schlom’s 6-foot frame stretched another three inches, he might be in that conversation, but he’s certainly no afterthought when it comes to the Sea Kings’ ability to get to the end zone and beat up on quality foes. " He’s a tremendous football player, but focusing on that, CdM coach Dan O’Shea says, “would be doing the young man a disservice.”" As important as Schlom, who caught 11 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown in the Sea Kings’ 42-21 romp over previously unbeaten San Clemente on Sept. 26, might be on the field, it’s a small fraction of what he means to the football program and his school. “Bradley Schlom is one of the young treasures,” O’Shea said. “A young student athlete who just has a phenomenal character about him and is just a magnetic joy to be around. I really mean that. ... He totally gets it."Corona del Mar’s Bradley Schlom breaks a tackle by Palos Verdes’ Ryan Wilson during a punt return in a nonleague road game on Sept. 6.(Tim Berger / Staff Photographer)
“Bradley gives us our speed threat that we sorely lacked years ago,” O’Shea said. “He’s the one who can take the top off the defense. He can run right at safety and run by him and create that underneath space or be able to go over the top in the middle of the field.” His specialty is route-running, and no one’s better. “If he puts a foot three inches too far to the left when he’s running a curl route, he’s the hardest on himself,” O’Shea said. “He is such a relentless worker on precise route-running to create maximum separation and, being able to understand the coverage that is being presented, to be able to find space.” more: www.latimes.com/socal/daily-pilot/sports/story/2019-10-03/high-school-football-player-of-the-week
