I don't have much doubt that the Russians did try to interfere, nor that they have done so before. I don't think many people dispute that. You are of course entitled your opinion, but you must understand that it's a major step to go from " there was Russian interference" to " the Trump campaign 'colluded' with the Russians to interfere." You need some very solid evidence to make that sort of leap and investigate a sitting US President. The record show that sufficient evidence was not there, which is why the Mueller investigation crashed and burned. I am sure you have read the comments by FBI investigators Strzok and Page. You are never going to get more compelling evidence of bias than that, whether you choose to ignore it or not. Res ipse dixit, and this story is not over yet...............................Luca Speaking of which (the story not being over yet), I just saw a video clip of Nancy Pelosi asking... 🙄... what does Vladimir Putin have on Trump. i believe the dementia is winning.

Andrew McCarthy ably summarizes this report, that tells us nothing new, in National Review:

What we have between the House and Senate Intelligence Committees are vastly different characterizations of the January ICA ordered by Obama on his way out the door. The ICA implied that Vladimir Putin favored Donald Trump (yet no evidence has ever been given to support this claim), and so in the mind of Trump-haters his electoral legitimacy must be tainted. But, for the sake of argument, even if it could be demonstrated conclusively that Putin "favored" Trump, why would this be relevant to anything? If Putin had "favored" Barack Obama over John McCain and Mitt Romney, this would be similarly irrelevant. The only issue that matters is if the Trump campaign was somehow colluding with Russian officials to cheat its way to victory. However, we already know the answer to this. Robert Mueller spent two years and $30M to conclude that no such collusion could be established (after the FBI already knew there was no case--Peter Strzok's famous "there's no 'there' there.")
In light of this House/Senate stalemate comes some pretty explosive assertions today by Fred Fleitz, former intelligence official with the CIA and DIA: If true, this would blow the conventional MSM narrative about Russia's role in the 2016 election out of the water. Now, on the other hand, the guy could be talking out of his ass--but I tend to doubt it. Given the political hatred for Trump that John Brennan has repeatedly displayed, these allegations cannot be ruled out. In any case, so much crucial information about the whole case has thus far been classified and redacted out of the eyes of the public that making hard conclusions is nearly impossible.
What I am sure of, though, is that Barr and Durham are privy to all of it and will determine the proper course of action in the coming weeks and months.
Stay tuned....

I'll take Wikipedia over Twitter any day. Actually, you do, day after day... RSM, please don't dismiss the value of Wikipedia out of hand. Without out, VP could never have become one of the world's leading authorities on Robert E. Lee and his "slave ownership".

I have read the comments as i'm sure the investigators of the FBI have read them. Despite these comments, Republican investigators found no reason to think the FBI investigation itself was in bad faith. That's good enough for me, but since it's not good enough for you we'll just have to wait and see what comes of Mr. Durham's further investigation. I can't tell if I'm not expressing myself clearly enough or if you're just missing the point. There's a third option you didn't consider.

In a state dedicated to justice, these three men would be behind bars. They need to face real accountability.

In a state dedicated to justice a man who paid hush money to a porn star after committing adultery wouldn't be sitting in the WH. You got the state you voted for.

Since when is two people signing a contract illegal? C'mon now--let's be fair. Bill Clinton never committed adultery with Paula Jones. He just exposed himself to a low level state employee while he was governor. Totally not adultery. He saved the rough stuff for Juanita Broadrick and Kathleen Willey, and then left his wife (forgot her name) to trash them and intimidate them. Not sure but didn't she later run for some high office while under criminal investigation? Seriously, though, what's lying to Congress, falsifying evidence, and abusing the power of office to bankrupt innocent people and unjustly send others to jail in an attempt to overthrow a duly elected President compared with.....Stormy Daniels (allegedly)?

Rich given your King and Queen Clinton’s [continued] history I'll put either of the Clinton's history against trump's any day of the week. How many of Clinton's aides/advisors went to jail? How many porn stars have the Clinton's paid off? You guys voted for a man who committed adultery, paid hush money to a porn star to cover up his adultery, and then lied about it on national TV....and now you whine about "accountability". For you and your guy there is no accountability because you gave him a pass and voted for him anyway. I guess you got all the accountability you deserve.
