Need to start a new thread as this story develops. Leftist media and Democrats already losing their minds. Hypocrisy-meter is off the charts.

Since the MSM and the Dems have all done their best to hide all of the corruption in our DOJ, I wonder how many Americans are totally unaware of all of this?

this is why we elected Donald Trump to the position of President, He has blown up the media and is draining the swamp..., it hasn't been easy, there have been no occupants of this Whitehouse with this much guts. Yes MDDad at times he appears to be insane. But think about it, wake up to that sh*t-storm in DC every day....

I think I'm as aware as anyone about what a shitstorm DC has become (and in fact, most state and municipal governments as well). But I don't agree that putting another shitstorm in the oval office is the way to fix it.

Yeah, what this country needs is more political spin in the news.

But I don't agree that putting another shitstorm in the oval office is the way to fix it. Prior to Trump, the only President that had any success in fixing the Federal government in the last 50 plus years was Reagan. Nixon, Ford, Carter, Bush, Clinton, Bush & Obama either specifically chose to make the situation worse or were unable to stem the tide. Some of those guys were nice guys, genuinely good people, but they couldn't or wouldn't do the job. It took a person who you disdain to effectively make a difference. Don't begrudge the results just because you don't like the package they came in.

But other than two Supreme Court appointments, don't be surprised if the results aren't as beneficial or long-lasting as you may think.

Yeah, what this country needs is more political spin in the news. Yeah, what this board needs is an illogical liberal political twit spinning his ill-informed nonsense on this board. Keep up the good work. As a self imposed moderator, I approve of this post.

BTW, MDDad, I seem to recall you liked Mitt Romney.

Gentlemen, I think everyone here simply wants what's best for the common good and I hope we're all interesting in getting to the truth. So in the effort to keep this thread from devolving into a food fight....
