The virus started with just one infection.

How many of the 60,000 passengers arriving at LAX each day from around the country and the world, are being quarantined for 14 days?
I'm sure none of them are infected.
Locking us down will certainly stop the spread of the virus

Signing a quarantine info sheet? What does that accomplish? “You acknowledge that we recommend you quarantine for 14 days”

Signing a quarantine info sheet? What does that accomplish? “You acknowledge that we recommend you quarantine for 14 days” Well that certainly sounds effective. Kind of like telling an illegal alien he needs to come back for his deportation hearing in a year or two. Or letting someone vote to prove they're a citizen.

More virtue signaling by California / Garcetii. Color me shocked.

If you can't feel it you are not out in the real world..., there is a groundswell effort in many parts of the state..., as things head further south mentally, emotional, academically, economically, Newsom will see what real pent up anger is all about. He, as well as many have believed this RECALL effort has little chance..., as did a guy named Gray Davis. We live in a time when things can get out of control real fast... like a California wildfire. ‘It’s all fallen apart’: Newsom scrambles to save California — and his career "“People are really pissed off,” said Ted Costa, the anti-tax crusader who was the original proponent of the Davis recall. He signed Newsom recall papers last week in the parking lot of a Home Depot in Thousand Oaks. “Things can get hot quick, and I don’t know if Newsom realizes what happens when a groundswell hits.”"Petition to Recall California Gov. Gavin Newsom Draws 1 Million Signatures
“The people are being heard loud and clear, and it is not a matter of IF we are going to reach our goal necessary that will trigger a recall election of Newsom, it is just when we cross the finish line,” Orrin Heatlie, the Lead Proponent of the official RecallGavin2020.com, said in a statement.
A senior adviser to the recall campaign, Randy Economy, previously told Fox News that it hoped to meet the benchmark required to place the measure on the ballot by mid-to late-January.
He told the outlet the effort is nonpartisan, with supporters of both Senator Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) and President Trump backing the cause.

At last count yesterday, California had received almost 2.8 million doses of the two vaccines, but only somewhat over 700,000 had been administered. This once again illustrates the complete inability of Gavin Newsom and his Democratic colleagues to plan and implement any kind of action to complete a desired project. Honest to God, if Newsom had the task of moving one bottle of beer from Table A to Table B three feet away, he couldn't get it done. There would have to be environmental impact studies conducted to determine any negative effects from moving the bottle. A "task force" would have to be convened to decide whether the person moving the bottle adequately represented black, Hispanic, gay and transgender communitites. A "commission" would have to determine if Table B was manufactured by a company that was primarily minority owned. The input from every public employees union in the state would have to be solicited to ensure that their interests were adequately satisfied. And it goes on and on and on.
This guy has been crying and waiting for a vaccine for ten months, and in that time he has put together no plans and no infrastructure to deliver and administer it in a timely manner, while thousands continue to die.

Pretty clever song spoof and video put together by what looks to be a couple of 18-20 year-olds in San Diego County.

Watch out California! This is headed your way.
A Police “reform” legislation has just passed both Illinois legislative bodies and sits on Jabba the Hut’s (our governor’s) desk: He has hailed it as landmark legislation and is expected to sign it.
What will it do, you ask?
BLM, Not in Our Town, and the Social Democrats have been demonstrating and protesting most of these for quite awhile.
Honestly, what ever became of the hypothesis/test/determine phase of decision-making? All we see from these neo-anarchists these days is shoot first, fix it later crapola.

I'm sure everyone knows that California is catastrophically behind in immunizing people with the Covid vaccine, and that Dodger Stadium is currently the largest distribution site for the vaccine. What some may not know is that the Dodger Stadium site is closed today, because working on Martin Luther King's birthday would be "disrespectful". I guess in L.A. County it's more important to look non-racist and politically correct than to save the lives of the elderly. King would turn over in his grave if he knew this was happening today.
