What is that old saying? "The road to hell is paved with George Soros money."

Things must not be so bad. Only 20.7% of registered voters voted.
In OC. Gov. GAVIN NEWSOM (DEM) got 46.91% of the vote to keep his job.
Lt. Gov. ELENI KOUNALAKIS (DEM) got 43.75% of the vote.
Secretary of State. SHIRLEY N. WEBER (DEM) got 48.68%
US Senator. ALEX PADILLA (DEM) got 43.83%
The 47 (my) District KATIE PORTER (DEM) 51.44% This one shocks me. Porter is sold by the Democrats as a very progressive voter in Washington.

This shows how lost this state is...., and the few enclaves left are getting redistricted like mine in CA47 where Katie "Progressive" Porter may end up the Congress "Pronoun" for a city like Newport Beach.

Wait wait... what if it is between Trump and Newsome? Or Newsome and ________________. ?
If we don't have mail-in ballots, the Dem's are doomed in 2024. Oh, and transparent counting in the swing states. Sadly, Newsome would probably win CA and NY. But what about MI, MN, WI, PA, and AZ and GA? I think a wobbly Republican should win. Unless, the economy magically rebounds and gas prices go back down.

Would a Congress and Senate controlled by the Republicans for two years prior to 2024 have any impact on how this voting process got so tainted? On a state level come November, I would have to believe "R's" win back power here too where it may be ever more so important.

This California exodus is showing in many areas, sectors of the state and could, or should, will have serious consequences.... Enrollment decline: LAUSD's Carvalho says families leaving the state or choosing to home-school
"California’s K-12 enrollment decline of more than 270,000 students since the pandemic began is largely attributable to people leaving the state, not enrolling children in transitional kindergarten or kindergarten, or deciding to home-school their children but failing to file the paperwork to account for them, the head of the state’s largest school district and other experts said Sunday. Yah, they should have made it for restaurants employing 100 or less. Put the mom and pops out of business.
