OK, I regret that the irony has only just caught up with me...

Alyssa Milano is essentially calling for sexual abstinence as the remedy for what she considers unjust abortion laws... Pro-Life advocates have long championed abstinence as the only sure fire birth control...

Why do some radicals believe Trump is anti-gay? On a scale of left to right, Trump's words & actions put him well left of center when it comes to gay issues and concerns.

Last night while sitting at my favorite watering hole in Newport Beach, a place I would say is somewhat of a "Trump" establishment although very diverse and eclectic in its patronage, a woman sat next to me of the "Liberal Mindset". I should have known what was coming when she asked if her "emotional support" Shih Tzu could be in the bar, my bartender cringed a bit and said "ok". We looked at each other with a grin knowing total "BS".

Any way..., chit chat chit chat and then came something like "wait you are not a Trump supporter"? I didn't come out right away and claim such, if not out of habit or more so the idea I really don't talk politics with strangers often. In fact this forum is somewhat of a first for me as you are aware I never put my toe into the waters of politics over at TOB. So I slowly built my case about myself and my political POV based more on what I am against, of course calling out much of what the Democrat Party stands for today. Well this all led to the whackiest comments by my new friend I could ever imagine. Oh, I remember now how this whole thing got going, she mentioned her favorite guy Bill Maher. I wrinkled my nose. Thats where the Trump tag was placed upon me. I said I see him is a mean spirited hateful man. Clever sometimes, repulsive others. So my Bill Maher friend then proceeds to tell me that she only watches he and Rachel Maddow, as Maddow is the speaker of truth. Beer flew out my nose. And of course you know what was coming next, Fox is all propaganda. Yikes.

Now in the middle of this debate comes the self claiming "I see my self really as an Independent". More beer flew out through my nose. She now again states I can't believe you are a Republican and I can't believe if you are I could sit next to you at a bar. I asked her if she was a proponent of "diversity"? She said "yes", I opened my arms and said, "here you go"! 

Now that I was outed, she asked me to list one thing that makes me want to support this horrible President. I told her I vote first on economics, less on social issues. I gave her a slew of reason why Trump and his economy were working and working well. For my complete in depth detailed response I got in return " you know the economy turned around under Obama and was handed to Trump". It was at this point I realized we live in two different worlds. And it wasn't Liberal-Conservative but simply "INFORMED - UNINFORMED"! What passes often with the "liberal mind set" is ill or uninformed people. 

The hour chit chat didn't end in any bad way, nothing nasty or too hateful. But it was just another wake-up call with the reality around us, she and many like her are just clueless. There was simply no ability or mind to use facts to support any of her opinions, it was merely all rehashed talking points and emotion bordering of hate. 

I had another beer. This time it all made it straight to my belly and bypassing an exit through my nose!
