Lefty's attitude toward churches is pretty well summed up here:

I like John Lithgow as an actor. But in this interview, he takes on an ugly condescension and self-righteous indignation towards those who disagree with him:
8:40 Margaret Hoover: "As you know, many Trump supporters perceive Hollywood as full of coastal elites who are out of touch with them and don't respect their values or their struggles. Does it concern you or give you pause that a satirical book about Trump might further embolden them in their position?" Lithgow: "...listen, I'm not a coastal elite. I've ended up on the two coasts because I'm in the entertainment business; The thing I'm most concerned about... is that he's only ever played tombs base. He's never reached out to the other side, never accommodated other points of view; never invited other opinions..." [Gee, John, you think that might be because the "other side" was so relentlessly attacking him? Degrading and disparaging EVERY thought, comment or plan?] 11:30 (about Trump) Lithgow: "he strikes me as a man who is incapable of being happy and, honestly, i...I pity him." 19:10 (about an actor portraying Trump) Lithgow: "...for one thing, I wish we'd just leave him alone." Margaret Hoover: "well, they're not leaving us alone." Lithgow: "they're not leaving us alone, but I wish we would deliberately ignore him for awhile. I, I just see it happening all over again...
Then beginning at 22:30, he reads from his book, blaming January 6th on one speech by Trump and, in my mind, effectively seals his rep as a coastal elite.

The long term survival depends on our kids Bick. Are they getting taught the right things? If not, they need to be. Choice is the best solution.

At first I thought they were saying the White House was hateful, but that could be outrageous for the MSM. I know a lot of people who don't think "gay" is an appropriate description.

Brad lives in Maryland and Delaware. He was sick of the world, of Covid-19, of Biden and Trump, Russian belligerence, China, global warming, racial tensions, and the rest of the disturbing stories that occupy mainstream media headlines. In short, he was despondent. Brad drove his car into his garage and then sealed every doorway and window as best he could. He got back into his car and wound down all the windows, selected his favorite radio station, started the car and revved it to a slow idle. He simply couldn't take it anymore.
Two days later, a worried neighbor peered through his garage window and saw him slumped in the car. She notified Emergency Services, and they broke in, pulling Brad from the car.
A little sip of water and, surprisingly, he was in perfect condition, but his Tesla had a dead battery. Brad is a Democrat.
