I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The House Republicans should all vote yes on a move to impeach, and send it to the Senate, where McConnell and the rest of the Senate Republicans would make quick work of it, and crush it once and for all, and then it's all over. The sooner the better.

...This whole scenario seems so obviously counterintuitive that I don’t know why they are pushing for it. Does anyone have a credible rationale for it?..............................Luca For not staying on top of it, you did a wonderful job of summarizing it. Some Democrats are pushing for it because they are Wabashian, partisan political hacks who will do anything to try to damage people from the opposing political party and defend anyone from their political party. Kamikaze if you will. Some Democrats are pushing (reluctantly) because they represent areas where they have a base of constituents who are Wabashian. They are doing it to stay elected & get re-elected. Some Democrats are pushing for it because they want to get their face in front of the camera to help with their presidential bid.

Why would Mueller put his career and reputation on the line for such a false narrative? He certainly isn't the top of the line, perfect man for the job, ethical prosecutor which we were all led to believe from the start. Dan Bongino has had this guy pegged from the start. He's an evil man and a political hack.

He's an evil man and a political hack. The Swamp protects the Swamp (or the Deep State if you prefer). Mueller also has a personal interest in covering up the misdeeds of the Obama IC since Comey was his successor as FBI Director, and the illegal use of the NSA database info began under his watch at the FBI. He's up to his own neck in corruption; remember, they all assumed Hillary would win and so none of their crimes would ever be found out. When Trump shocked the world in November 2016 the Deep State went into full on panic mode. And here we are. I still maintain Pelosi and Schumer are wise enough to the political realities that impeachment will never happen. It's nothing but a loser for the Democrats. From what I understand both of their post-Mueller statements today were notable for not mentioning the "I" word.

Robert Mueller's contribution to American jurisprudence is this: the centuries-old legal principle of the "presumption of innocence" is now changed to "possibly guilty until exonerated" (if you are Republican).
Democrats have now fully embraced Communist Police State tactics as long as they can damage their opponents. Well done.
These people should never be put back into power until they have fully repented for havoc they have caused. This is not a "both sides are to blame" situation. The D.C. Democrats are a mortal threat to life, liberty, and the rule of law.

I think RSM has it right. The Democrats are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they don't impeach, they look like political cowards to their rabid supporters who want Trump's head on a pike. And if they do impeach and the effort dies in the Senate, they look like "losers and lightweights". It's ironic that the one person who best recognizes this dilemma is the one with arguably the most damaged brain -- Nancy Pelosi.

SHE KNOWS the Senate will dispatch it quickly and, then, not only will the democrat Trump-haters be out of gas, but they’ll make Trump into a martyr AND make themselves look petty and bitter.

The sore-losers are also going to turn over every rock, tax return, bank loan, etc. to try and come up with a deduction or financial transaction from the past 30 years or so which they can hang the President on. When Trump states that this is Presidential harassment, he is right on.

Suddenly several Congressmen are being asked for tax returns and such...

Even Alan Dershowitz (who voted for Hillary) has now had enough of Mueller, calling him out as a partisan. One of the only honest Democrats out in the public sphere.
And when I say that people like Mueller, Comey, and McCabe have partisan hatred for Trump, it's not a Republican/Democrat issue (since all of those guys identified themselves as Republicans), it's a Washington Establishment partisanship vs. Trump as the ultimate outsider and disrupter of their crony cabal of self-enrichment and power lust. That's why people like John McCain, Paul Ryan, and Mitt Romney never got behind Trump, despite the fact he was actually promoting the policies the GOP has ostensibly been wanting to implement for decades. Maybe the truth is that this was always only for show, feigned promises that were usually abandoned once these supposed "conservatives" were safely elected...

Deep State Buddies: James Clapper, John Brennan, and Robert Mueller. Back-slapping alumni of the Obama administration and its illegal surveillance apparatus.

Comey 2016 and Mueller 2019 are two peas in a pod.

Mueller was so obsessed with nailing Trump on anything that they let a guy charged with possession of child porn roam free. And to top it off, what he ended up testifying to in the investigation was a big nothing-burger. Great job, St. Bob.
