I can't go along with that one. Brady is having another excellent year, but it's similar to his other 19 seasons. Conversely, what Shohei Ohtani did this year is unique in the history of American pro sports.

At least Sports Illusrated picked a Sportsperson of the Year who actually played and competed. The ultimate shitrag, Time Magazine, picked someone who didn't do either. I have to assume Colin Kaepernick finished second their voting.

Pretty wild thinking that most of us here remember when he stepped in for Drew Bledsoe.
Don't really remember YA Title like a couple guys here, but damn if Brady wasn't the top of the heap of some really great ones the past 20 years.

So it is now official. In a way, even coming up short of getting back to back Super Bowl at 44, these numbers are simply ridiculous. Still at the top of his game. I truly believe had he not lost his receiving corp., TB & the Bucs would have repeated.
