Unless they're willing to allow kids to be diagnosed with this without treating it like a death sentence, I don't see how they'll be able to finish.

Here's the thing--hypothetically, if every single kid at Servite was infected with COVID-19, the statistical odds that even one of these would result in serious complications or death is ZERO. If you're under 60 and otherwise healthy the danger of COVID is no greater than the seasonal flu. The only sane policy is to accept the fact that we'll have to learn to live with it and manage it for the foreseeable future--just like the flu. |

Seems the odds of it being treated as the flu are pretty remote when you consider teachers are parading around in Halloween garb claiming they're going to die.

With a conference like this falling...I don't see any chance HS football will have or finish a season if it starts next month.

Unless there's a change in the paradigm back to the reality of our entire lifetime of handling viruses, there is no end in sight for this shutdown crap. Even at best case that an approved vaccine is developed, I think most vaccines are between 30-60% effective against your run of the mill flu.
