What are the odds a liberal would own the fact the "inject yourself with disinfectant" crap, was taken completely out of context? About as likely as "there were good people on both sides" in Charlottesville? Or "I looked it up and Robert E. Lee owned slaves."

Even as a Trump supporter, I wish he would sometimes just walk away from the mic and let the experts talk. Regardless of the context, it was a stupid thing to even comment on. Why can’t you just say “I don’t know, ask the health experts?”

I admit I felt the same way when I saw the 30 second clip. But after seeing it within the context of the conversation, it was nothing like what's being portrayed.
He even clarified he wasn't talking about injecting it, but combining the the items to clean / disinfect a surface.
Now here's the real question... What's more dangerous during a crisis...a president who speculates about different alternatives, or intentionally misleading the public so as to distrust leadership?

How about a speculating politician who's word is taken literally by the media? I do commend the man for going out there everyday and taking an absolute beating by the media; free campaigning

Come on, guys. The dude has many personality shortcomings, and this is one of them. Like most five-year-olds, he has to pretend to be an expert on everything. In that regard, he is not much different from AOC, and it makes both of them look foolish.

In that regard, he is not much different from AOC, and it makes both of them look foolish. TDS alert! By no means is Trump asserting expertise in this area. He's merely speculating about possible treatments-- based on scientific findings already well known. Disinfectants kill germs? UV rays kill germs? This is not new stuff. Now is he thinking out loud here in his typically rambling way, which is then easily misinterpreted? Absolutely--because he's not a scripted politician. Throw in a deranged and dishonest press corps hell-bent on portraying him in the worst possible light, and you have today's Fake News Story #7,391. I'll tell you what. I wish the media were as interested as the President in exploring possible remedies-- even if they might save one life (in their favorite term of the moment)--and moving the country out of this self-inflicted disaster, instead of spending their time playing their stupid gotcha games. They are doing the country no good service whatsoever.

Agree w/ Credo on this one. He wasn't coming off as an expert here - he said as much multiple times.

Well... If Hillary is saying it, it must be true.

So when trump said: “And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets inside the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”...you accept his "clarification" that he was talking about "cleaning/disinfecting a surface"? No, this more like his suggestion that aerial water tankers bomb Notre Dame when it was ablaze....just completely without any merit whatever.

Beats the heck out of your "take my word for it, he didn't own any" argument. You really hate being disagreed with don't you.

The media and the Democrats are beyond gross in their willful disinformation. Now Nancy Pelosi is on record saying that the President suggested people should "inject Lysol" into themselves. Neither realizes how ridiculous they look. They are truly the Enemy of the People.

Any problem with his suggestion about the aerial tankers at Notre Dame? I'm just curious how far you'll bend over to defend this buffoon.

The question was as stupid as your parties thought that they should follow such a “suggestion” The double standard on gaffs is so beyond laughable

So you have no problem with the president of the US being so stupid that he asks such a question? Ignorance is not stupidity, although I'm not sure you can comprehend the difference. What I am sure is that you know no more about medicine than Trump does. Most people, when ignorant, ask a question because they don't have the knowledge. You are one of the rare exceptions, when you are ignorant of a subject, you declare your opinion to be fact. Don't believe me, look at your post above. You are ignorant as to why the President would ask such a question, so you form the opinion that he is stupid and then declare it to be so. Wrong once again, Leon.
