In August 2015, Alley tweeted that she would not be supporting Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, during the 2016 presidential elections, and on April 8, 2016, she tweeted her support for Republicans Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani.[32][33] On October 8, 2016, Alley retracted her endorsement of Trump, tweeting, "I hate this election and I'm officially no longer endorsing either candidate."[34]
In October 2020, she stated she had voted for Trump in 2016 and intended to vote for him again in 2020 because "he's NOT a politician".[

Edson Arantes do Nascimento (Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈɛdsõ(w) aˈɾɐ̃tʃiz du nasiˈmẽtu]; 23 October 1940 – 29 December 2022), known mononymously as Pelé (Portuguese pronunciation: [peˈlɛ]), was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward. Regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and labelled "the greatest" by FIFA,[1] he was among the most successful and popular sports figures of the 20th century. In 1999, he was named Athlete of the Century by the International Olympic Committee and was included in the Time list of the 100 most important people of the 20th century. In 2000, Pelé was voted World Player of the Century by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) and was one of the two joint winners of the FIFA Player of the Century. His 1,279 goals in 1,363 games, which includes friendlies, is recognised as a Guinness World Record

There are very few areas in which there is an almost 100% consensus as to the greatest ever. Secretariat in thoroughbread racing, Richard Petty in NASCAR racing, the Beatles in popular music, Wayne Gretzky in hockey, Muhammad Ali in boxing and Joe Biden among American presidents are a few that come to mind. With apologies to guys like Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, I think Pele belongs on that list.

RIP Sweet Face of the 80's ..... As if we need it, this is even more proof that the world keeps getting uglier when people like Tatjana die so young while Rosie O'Donnell lives on.

He wasn't a famous public figure, but George Fraser, the sophomore quarterback who gave Clare van Hoorebeke his only standalone CIF championship at Anaheim High School in 1967 has passed away. For those old enough to have seen him play, he was a special talent at the position, and a really good kid as well.
