Credo, I think it has more to do with training. The schools are grooming our kids. For what? Whatever they want. It is a shame.
And to your point: ONLY a little over 500 kids under 19 have died from COVID. So far, there have been over 150 deaths of those under 19 from the vaccine. How long have they been vaccinating kids? Not long.
In March 2020 I think everyone was worried. That Oxford professor said that 3 million American would die. Lock down for two weeks. Sure.... But now we have the data. There is no need for masks period.

The pandemic is over. There is no need to vaccine kids. They should not require a vaccine for college students or younger.  |

The "fact checkers" should be held accountable for this too. I told my son that and he fact checked it last year. The fact checkers said the scientist from China was liar (one said "pants on fire" liar).
The other day I mentioned it again after the House Intelligence report, and he said "What". The fact checkers were the liars and are liars. It is very unlikely it was a natural occurring virus. Others, like Fauci, are backtracking their original statements.

My point is that I believe there is some seasonality with the flu that spikes for a short period of time in the summer, overly sensitive cycle rate of the covid testing and mitigation efforts notwithstanding.
