I think we stayed at the Venetian for my 21st... I was going to say that makes you fairly young, then I looked it up & realized the Venetian opened up 20 years ago. Holy cow! |

Also, you better not wait too long to get a copy of "Dumbo." That's been in their sights for a long time. Yes because it is inhumane to name an elephant from Africa “DUMBo” which we all know rhymes with Sambo! |

We had a dog that died last month named Dumbo. A sweet dog, but dumb as a brick. However, he earned his name by having huge ears as a puppy & then apparently decided to become what he was named.
He is survived by his best friend Captain, short for Captain America. Captain was born on July 4th and makes it his mission to protect any & all that are in his sphere of influence, even if they don't want to be protected. It is in his genes (Anatolian Shepherd).

The can be as historically current and relevant as they want, but I'll be goddamned if I'm ever going to root for my alma mater when they become the Braceros, or Cholos, or Grape-Pickers, or Kumbayas. |

The can be as historically current and relevant as they want, but I'll be goddamned if I'm ever going to root for my alma mater when they become the Braceros, or Cholos, or Grape-Pickers, or Kumbayas. For those interested, I encourage you to sign the counter-petition. Even if you don’t sign, This page at change . org has a lot of Anaheim history documented... [hint: It had nothing to do with race, other than the original settlers were European AND Hispanic] |

They certainly used to, but my kids are homeschooled so I’m not sure what they are teaching today. that petition and most of the comments on it show an alarming lack of historical acumen. They’re all about violent overthrow of indigenous people. im also guessing most are mid-teens with no real interest in the topic other than some guy on tik-tok told them to. |

As a graduate of Anaheim High School, I'm proud to say I'm a Colonist. This PC woke BS continues to amaze, sadden, and really piss me off.
