Sure...and the FBI is taking days to figure out what's going on while you guys figured it out from a couple of Twitter posts. Yeah, that makes sense. Truly amazing... Pretty much. Nice foresight. I have said, all week, that it was neither staged nor racism. On Tuesday, yesterday morning, I posted photos from the article in that one Twitter post, above, as Evidence it was neither staged nor racism. One friend, in particular, a libertarian (in fact, the chairman of the local Libertarian party) argued with me quite extensively, posting several articles of his own and, finally, he settled on, “let’s just see what the FBI finds.” Late yesterday afternoon, he posted, “David is right this time.” so, yes, Buttwipe, we DID figure it out from at least one Twitter feed that looked at something with which you are unfamiliar: Actual evidence. |

How about this? If ever there was a thread where you would/could agree that something is ridiculous, I would have thought this might have been the one. You'd be right too...this thread has the most ridiculous assertions in it.... like NASCAR wouldn't know what their pull-down cords look like....or that they'd be "mistaken" for a noose. ROFL. |

Or this? I don't know whether this was an act of hate or just a prank either, but this idea that it's a mistake by NASCAR over simple pull-down cords for the doors is just silly. |

And jump ropes. What about jump ropes? Before they had handles, they all used to have a knot in each end that looked mighty suspicious.
And those ropes you used to have to climb in junior high P.E. class. They all had knots at the bottom.
And those tug-of-war ropes they use in lineman competitions. They have knots every five feet or so, including at both ends.
Jesus Christ, racism really is more ubiquitous than I ever imagined.

Since Democrats were the ones employing actual nooses during the Jim Crown Era, it makes sense they would continue to use this imagery against those they hate:
There's about a dozen other videos where Democrats are talking about the noose tightening around Donald Trump's neck. And you know if some mob got a hold a Trump and strung him up, there would be no shortage of liberals cheering on and proclaiming that "he got what he deserved." These are sick people.

How about it? What did I say that was false? I think NASCAR knew what their pull-cords look like and that this one was tied into a noose..no "mistake". According to the FBI they found a noose...no indication that all the pull-cords are fashioned into nooses...just the one. They also found that it had been this way for some time and thus no criminal charges were to be filed. I do think it's likely that NASCAR contacted the FBI out of a sense of caution in the tense times we live in, but there's been no indication other than the febrile rantings of our resident lefty-hater that this was a "hoax" or any kind of deliberate attempt to mislead anyone. |

Luca was certainly right about you. You are incapable of simply disagreeing with someone. You have to find some evil in them. It's not enough to say "I think the noose wasn't a racist statement I think they're mistaken", you have to slander people with unfounded accusations for which you have no evidence. You shouldn't be telling others they are sick, you should see a doctor. |

I don't recall ever saying anything about the noose that was found other than it was a noose. I suggested letting the FBI conclude their investigation, and I called other theories about the noose "absurd" and "ridiculous", mostly because they were accusatory and made without evidence. If I had gone down the Credo path and said that this noose was obviously an attempt to intimidate Bubba Wallace by a bunch of ignorant redneck Republican idiots...then I'd owe you an apology, As it stands I fail to see what you think I was so wrong about I need to apologize. |

You said guys here were silly for concluding this was a big nothing burger after seeing the photo of the "noose" in a photo at Talladega. That qualifies as evidence in my book for the purposes of chat room banter. He was driving the race card, and guys here all called BS on him...and they were right.
