Does anybody know why the McCloskey’s are being targeted this time around? Is it because they had the courage to defend their property in the first place? Yes, that's it. We on the left hate "courage"..it bothers us so much we form mobs to stamp it out wherever we see it...we hate courage...we prefer apathy...we on the left all think alike and are moved to action by the slightest display of courage. And of course let's not forget that the McCloskey's are the paragons of courage we've been waiting to attack for some time..we were just waiting for someone who exemplifies what's good and right about this country, and someone who personifies the 'common man" that every person can identify with...you know, an ambulance chaser who lives in a mansion on a "private' street. In all seriousness they could be prosecuted for any number of reasons, including local animus, or maybe the prosecutor thinks that pointing loaded weapons at unarmed people is wrong. As I've said I think a prosecution is not going to happen, but if it does it's certainly possible that the McCloskey's are not well liked in St. Louis...and I doubt that the current situation won them many friends.

So it's wrong for the media to tell the truth about the McCloskey's but it's ok for Mr. McCloskey to lie about the protesters at every opportunity...got it. What lies did Mr. McCloskey say about the protestors? Your accusations are always vague and without specifics and you wonder why you garner no respect on this forum!

I'm not sure you could say either side "lied" at this point. They're all allegations.

Yeah vilepagan, protecting property that took years of hard work to acquire is certain to be looked upon as unnatural by an unhinged small segment of Americans. Likely people who have rented apartments who have never owned anything of value their entire lives - people like you! No wonder you are so timid, you don’t even grasp the concept.

Help me understand why you believe we should believe the Media and the protestors over the McCloskeys. Because the story being put forward by the media and the protesters is more reasonable and supported by what little video evidence we've seen, while the story being put forward by the McCloskey's is outrageous, difficult to believe, and not supported by what little video evidence we've seen.

Well, your posts are usually accompanied by some rude comment..so what's your point? Mr. McClosky lied about many things, like the armed protesters, the trespassing, the broken gate...it's tough to keep track of all the hyperbole. But let's chalk it all up to the fact that they're personal injury attorneys...truth is such a relative concept.

And you're just a whining child who can't even have an adult conversation without resorting to childish insults. To explain what's unnatural to someone who's obviously mentally challenged...what's unnatural is pointing loaded guns at people because you're just afraid. That might also be called "unhinged'.

Look, I’m sure we’ve both seen the same footage of the protestors entering and standing across from Mr. McCloskey and his wife and there is no way either of us could make a determination that one or the other are lying about what was said or what actions the protestors might have taken, besides entering private property, to get such a reaction. However, to state that the protestors are NOT trespassing is factually inaccurate. The gate by which they entered, whether forceful or not, is usually manned by private security. Portland Pl. is on their property (look back a few posts and see the property assessor map I provided). The general rule is, no invite = trespass.

...truth is such a relative concept. For those readers who may still have been confused, Vilepagan has stated as clearly as possible in six words one of the cornerstones of leftist ideology...and what a load of bullcrap it is. The truth is never relative, only our views or interpretations of it are.

The protestors were trespassing and the gate was clearly broken. You cannot say otherwise.

Homey doesn’t see photos or videos of those very things he says don’t exist? or maybe the fact filter in his parents basement leave them out of his ISP feed...

By the way, I don't believe Mr. McCloskey ever pointed his weapon at anyone. He gestured with it towards the gate, while telling the BLM wackos to get out, but the rest of the time he just held it pointed to his right, where there was no one. His wife, on the other hand...
