IMO, these ivory-tower folks like Kamala and Joe have lost touch with what makes the world go around. While they are in the drive through waiting for the Mocha Machioto, there are people out there making things happen. Mechanics fixing cars, drywallers, pavers, engineers, cops, doctors, etc. Joe did not fix things. Kamala didn't fix things. They need to step back and let the world do its thing.
I think their biggest coup will be when they get the digital currency going. The CBDC. The banks will win. Right now, if you spend 50 dollars cash, the guy you pay gets $50. He pays someone else $50, on down the line. You end up with $50 minus the taxes. With the CBDC, there will by tiny fees association with each transaction. Given enough iterations, the $50 will disappear. The banks win.
