Fresno bishop tells Catholics not to get COVID-19 vaccine, citing use of stem cells in its development

Citing ethical concerns about the use of stem cells in vaccine development, Bishop Joseph Brennan of the Diocese of Fresno is urging Catholics not to “jump on the COVID-19 vaccine bandwagon.”

In a video shared by the diocese this week, Brennan said the race to produce a coronavirus vaccine has spurred researchers to make use of morally objectionable materials.

Oh man, that hurts just thinking about it.

We are apparently up to Covid-Omicron variant.  I've lost track, how many is this, now?  13 or 14? Vaccine manufacturers (coincidentally, who got heavily invested in by our politicians last year) raced like their pants were on fire to produce a vaccine that would keep us from getting the virus... OOPS, I mean, we had to get TWO shots, 3 or 6 months apart and THEN we would not catch... WAIT A MINUTE, we REALLY meant, 2 shots and a booster MIGHT keep you safe, or maybe you'll only catch a weak virus...but, now:

SOO... here's my question:

We're up to Omicron before they start "pivoting their efforts"...to "anticipate new strains."  What have they been doing up to this point? (other than peddling this snake oil to make politicians rich).

Maybe the biggest story is the reluctance to share the info with the people.

Wow, that looks like quite a revealing study in incompetence.  As a guy who spent much of his professional career reviewed statistical data, incuding some clinical trials, I'm a little stunned.  This was supposed to be a "clinical trial" of a Covid-19 vaccine, right?  That's pretty important.  But I noticed several surprising figures that are a little shocking:

(1) Those conducting the study didn't know the gender of 2,990 patients in their study group?  That's 7.1%.
(2) They also didn't know the age of 6,876 patients in their study group?  That's 16.3 %, and it's kind of important.
(3) Perhaps most unforgivable, they didn't know the case outcomes of 9,400 patients in their study group?  That's 22.3% of the total.
(4) Finally, we've known for two years that "Covid deaths" included all patients who either died of Covid or died of other causes but coincidentally also had Covid at the time of their deaths.  Is there any reason to believe the 1,223 fatalities reported in this "study" didn't follow the same criteria?  How many of those 1,223 deaths were due to cancer, heart attacks or car accidents?

Considering the importance of the study and impact of the resulting vaccine, a first glance at the numbers has me shaking my head.
