We called that year revenge year, beating Beckman 14-13 in CIF-SS Southern Division Championship. We had lost CIF to them the previous year, then lost league to them during that season yet made it to the Championship CIF game and stopped them on a 2 point conversion try to win the game. Sorry for your loss Frog.

hey TIME OUT boys........., looking at the point spreads all being close I thought how the heck can SM be only favored over over JS by 3? Checking project a match up it shows 7? Here is my conclusion, as it happened before, project a match up is finalized on Tuesdays at some point, looks like Bick made his selections early Tuesday morning...... probably before calculations....
Here are the updated spreads, which should be used......
Santa Margarita @ JSerra (+7.5) Sierra Canyon @ Mission Viejo (+7.5) Loyola @ San Clemente (+8.5) Tesoro @ Aliso Niguel (+2.5) Citris Valley @ Cajon (+2.5)

That is not "PROJECT A MATCH - UP" which is in the rules and links given multiple occasions...... www.calpreps.com/cgi-bin/2021/project_matchup1_new.plThose league pages don't even list projections on every game, check Sunset... only has one game picked/projected.... I do find it strange however that those pages in which you look do not reflect the same projections according to the Calpreps Projection or "Project A Match Up" page.... Also of note, in that projection SM only 3 point favorite over JSerra? No way based on numbers this season, if we did the spreads MDDads way it would be SM 55.7 Rating vs JS 45.2 Rating which equates to a 10.5 point spread of favorite for SM. Anyway, we need to keep one thing consistant besides my bad picks to date, the source of the spreads each week.

The person who picks the games each week should have the right to use whatever spreads he wants, even if he makes them up on his own. It makes no difference, as each player can still take or give the points. It only matters if the book is making money on the bets, in which case he wants 50% of players to be on each side of the spread.

That said, if we want to pick any lines we choose and the group is OK with that..., once posted, it is what it is and pick away. However the rules were posted clearly, and that is what until asked, told, voted, opined otherwise we should use.

Being in last place currently, I am clearly confused.
Are this week's picks based on the original or the updated spreads?
