And that's a large part of the problem, isn't it? Voters don't want to think intellectually about the pluses and minuses of various policy positions. They much prefer to be shocked, outraged, offended or titillated in some way by one politician name-calling or bad-mouting another. That's how shallow thinkers like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Donald Trump and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have made their mark, and that's why the White House and the halls of congress have turned into the Jerry Springer Show. It's pathetic. |

In all of American history, it would be hard to argue that we've had a run of three consecutive presidents more flawed than Obama, Trump and Biden. An articulate racist, a childish narcissist and a senile corpse will be hard to beat as a trifecta of losers. |

A agree whole heartedly that Trump was, and is a childish narcist. But wow, he did get some things right. Biden could have been good too, if the people pulling the strings were good too.

But wow, he did get some things right. Yes, he did. But everybody gets some things right. Well, except for Joe Biden. But Trump also divided this country by the childish things he did and by his constant bragging. And even worse, he loved doing it bcause it stroked his ego. |
