"An oral compact has been breached. And Republicans will have Biden & Son arrested soon enough while Hillary may yet pay for her emails.Op-ed
Peril awaits America now that the 45th President of the United States has been indicted. When a former American president is targeted by the politically despicable woke, we all face disaster.
There are rules in the American game. Most of those rules are set forth explicitly in the U.S. Constitution, its amendments, and two centuries of binding judicial opinions interpreting, adding to, or deleting rules. One might call those rules “America’s Written Law.” And then there are unwritten rules one might call “America’s Oral Law,” the traditions that have been handed down from generation to generation. How can Americans know what these Oral Laws of America are if they are not written anywhere? Americans just do.
This is the most perilous era in American history. Even the Civil War was less threatening to the American Idea than the time in which we now live."

‘Worst Case of Prosecutorial Abuse’: Alan Dershowitz Reacts to Trump Indictment Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz harshly criticized the indictment of former President Donald Trump, describing it as an extreme case of prosecutorial misconduct. “In 60 years of practice, this is the worst case of prosecutorial abuse I have ever seen,” Dershowitz told The Epoch Times on March 30. “What’s really unprecedented is not the indictment of a past president, but the indictment of a potential future president who is running against the head of the party of the man who indicted him.” “It’s very dangerous—it means that district attorneys can indict their own political enemies,” the scholar said. “It really endangers the rule of law for all Americans. Today, it’s Trump; tomorrow, it’s a Democrat. The day after tomorrow, it’s your uncle Charlie, or your niece, or your nephew.” www.theepochtimes.com/worst-case-of-prosecutorial-abuse-alan-dershowitz-reacts-to-trump-indictment_5162018.html?utm_source=News&src_src=News&utm_campaign=breaking-2023-03-31-2&src_cmp=breaking-2023-03-31-2&utm_medium=email&est=uURFHktGrbUmW8kbELDqIL86hQJPNkRIwiS2RUASebez20%2FasCVlZ69zvfNikg%3D%3D

Really good piece from Israel National News about the impact of the indictment. Getting even will be the call to action between the parties, and it's going to escalate. www.israelnationalnews.com/news/369472

Weren't the Republicans trying to do the same thing to Hillary in 2016, only they failed? Except that, 1. She wasn't a former president, 2. The government was controlled by the Democrats, and, 3. Any trial would have been in Washington DC which is about 95% Democrat, so there's no way she would have been convicted, even if she would have been indicted, which is no sure thing there. On top of that, She would have controlled the government if she had won, so the only way a trial could have happened, would have been if she lost the race, in which case she would have been NEITHER a former president, NOR a candidate for the presidency anymore. ...And she DID lose, and she WASN'T Indicted. Other than that it's exactly the same thing.

Donald Trump is the OJ Simpson of politics. Even if it were to turn into the: 'Trial of the Century' there could only be just one clear obvious outcome. We've seen this movie play before.

O.J. Simpson was guilty. He just wasn't convicted. Is the same true of Trump?

They need to look at Hillary and the FBI MD. The Hillary campaign had an office for the FBI in their headquarters, AND this whole bogus Steele Dossier just snuck under their noses. The dossier was the cornerstone of their impeachment. They tried to impeach him twice and failed. No they got a DA / Grand Jury to indict him in a very blue district. I don't trust them.

Of course the FBI and DOJ have become political hatchetmen for the Democratic Party. And of course the Steele Dossier was fake, and Hillary Clinton is as dirty as a pig in mud. But those are separate issues. The issue here is whether or not Donald Trump used campaign funds to pay personal hush money to a porn star he screwed. If he did, he's guilty of a crime.

I am not sure that is what the indictment is about. And if it is, they need to prove that. From what I have seen, he told Cohen to not pay. Cohen paid. Their star witness is a criminal, assuming that is what they are going to try to pin on him. Plus, the statute of limitations has run out on that misdemeanor. They pushed it into a felony to avoid that by saying he used campaign funds. He didn't write the check. Cohen did. We will see what is going to happen.
Plus, this topic is connected to Hillary in that if they are going after a President, why not go after Hillary and others in the FBI for their crimes? Because this is all politically motivated.
