I hope Trump has some great attorneys that get this thrown out of court. I read most of that article SK. Hopefully the judge has some scruples.
I am thankful we flipped the House. If that didn't happen, we would be in big trouble (or maybe bigger trouble).

To continue that analogy: If you promised to run a mile race, and you knew you couldn't because you would be gassed after half a lap, and because you knew there were snipers along the way waiting to shoot you in the leg, then yeah, you failed at a promise you shouldn't have made because you knew you couldn'tr keep it. Look, I've said multiple times that I agree with most of his policies. But I just can't stand the way he constantly brags about himself likes he's some kind of God or superhero, and the childish namecalling he can't stop himself from using. His mouth always runs a mile ahead of his brain, and that rubs me the wrong way. With the state this country is in, we don't need a petulant child in the White House for four more years. |

That is a problem. But he is the guy to put together a team, a team with views on all sides, and then make a decision after a discussion. The decisions tend to be right. I remember instances when people would leak conversations about his meetings. Those leaks were from people who opposed him. He brought the opposition into the debate. The guy changes the world for the better, and that is hard to do, considering all of the whack-jobs and greedy special interests out there. On the other hand, Democrats rarely make the right decision. DeSantis can do a similar job, MAYBE. He has only been tested in Florida. |

Yes, he puts together a team, but he demonstrated in his first term that very few of his team can stand working with him for more than a couple months. That's not leadership. And I can't think of a single time his decisions weren't already made before any discussions took place. Despite expert advice, he never changes his mind because he always thinks he knows best. That's narcissism. As I said before, besides installing numerous conservative judges (which is something that just passively fell in his lap), what has he done to change the world for better long term? |

During his term we didn't have the wars and rumors of wars. That was pretty good. No one has control over the current airheads in control.

I couldn't find the Mar Lago thread, but this is second best. The headline seemed like bluster, but it could be actionable, if the DOJ wasn't so twisted. Oh well.

My comment didn't mention Trump and had nothing to do with him. It was an opinion on Joe Biden and the fact that he is utterly devoid of any principles or scruples. He is the worst kind of political pig.
